I dined at this trattoria during a short vacation in Rome: I was looking for a place where I could enjoy a quiet dinner featuring typical dishes of the city. We were two guests and ordered a carbonara, a gricia, the scallops, and the meatballs: everything was delicious from start to finish. I also really appreciated the presentation of the dishes. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing, and the owner was extremely kind and attentive to our every need. If I ever return to Rome, I will definitely return.

Excellent Roman cuisine for lunch, starting at €5 for a first course, a quarter of wine and water.

Excellent dinner!
The owner's courtesy and attentiveness are truly special and contribute to a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. The dishes on the menu are carefully prepared, tasty, and rich in flavor. What makes this place unique, however, is the atmosphere: it feels like a guest in someone's home, welcomed with genuine hospitality and simplicity. I spent a wonderful evening with my father...thanks again!

Very good or often €10 bargain Roman cuisine very good and beautiful
The food was really good! The prosciutto and mozzarella appetizer was delicious, the prosciutto both sweet and savory.
The two first courses (amatriciana and gricia) were excellent: the amatriciana sauce was truly flavorful, peppery just right, and the guanciale was also perfectly done! And finally, an excellent tiramisu.

Tried this place for lunch today. Found it by chance online based on the area I was passing through. Very low price for a plate of pasta, water, and wine. It's definitely not a place for a long lunch (at least at lunchtime), but rather a place for locals to stop for a quick, filling, and tasty lunch. It was also excellent for me, as I was passing through on a trip.

A small, typical Roman trattoria with just the right number of options on the menu, it's immediately clear that this is a cuisine that focuses more on traditional Roman cuisine than on the vastness of a wide selection, but which falls short of expectations in terms of quality.
The quality of the dishes and desserts, made in-house, is excellent.
The owner is friendly and helpful, a restaurant owner who has been in business for generations and upholds tradition.
The carbonara is excellent, with guanciale (don't call it pancetta, they'll be offended!), particularly crispy and flavorful, and is deglazed with wine according to the ancient recipe.
Small, intimate atmosphere, not many seats, but quiet and pleasant enough for a quiet evening.
A little warm, but bearable.
Prices are a bit high overall.

Trattoria Guerra is an excellent place to eat quality food.
The food is really good, so I can't help but give it at least 4 stars.
However, I found the portion of the first course too small, perhaps less than 100 grams for a carbonara that still cost €16.
Another aspect I didn't particularly like was the cover charge, €2.50 per person with paper placemats.
In short, excellent food, but excessively expensive.
