I had a lovely plate of pici alla carbonara, unparalleled in its deliciousness. Compliments to chef Riccardo, but also to the person who served me! The atmosphere was very family-friendly, warm both inside and out (given the temperature outside). I'll definitely be back.

We've spent most of the week here trying to find a actual family run traditional restaurant and Trattoria Gigi did not disappoint. Food was 10/10. So friendly & cute. We've rebooked for the next night we loved it so much. Only downside, we're not here for longer to come again. Could not fault at all. Left very full & happy

Highly recommended! A family-run trattoria with a warm atmosphere, just like the ones I used to go to with my parents when I was a child. Dishes that taste of Florence and Tuscany, all delicious in their simplicity. The welcome is top-notch: you feel right at home, and even better!

My husband and I recently visited Trattoria Gigi for dinner. The atmosphere is authentic. The food is extraordinary. Service is impeccable. Be aware you need reservations. We were very lucky to get reservations for the same evening. The servers were attentive and courteous. We ordered their house cabernet, a salad, carbonara, and steak filet with truffles. The carbonara was excellent. It wasn't pasty like some can be. The best I experienced. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely beefy with a truffle crust. He finished every bite. The chocolate truffle for dessert was to die for. This restaurant is a MUST for anyone visiting the area. You may arrive as a customer, but you leave like family. Looking forward to our next visit.

A quiet trattoria, they make you feel at home. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, but reservations are recommended, as it's sometimes busy for dinner. I spent four nights in Florence, and dined there three times.

I spent a week in Florence with my friends and returned to Gigi's before leaving. Excellent food! We tried it twice for lunch and dinner and were delighted by the food and the kindness and courtesy of the staff. Recommended!
