We came across this trattoria by chance, one of the few open because in the week of August 15th many trattorias and restaurants are closed.
I was struck by the kindness on the phone when booking and we really liked the place, the fast, attentive and discreet service. Of course the food was delicious.
Everything was delicious: the appetizers, the pumpkin ravioli with the two condiments and the sbrisolona.
We got to know Lugana, a good white wine from the area.
In short, we thought we would have to settle for a sandwich and instead we discovered a great place to eat!

We were passing through and stopped in Mantua Nord to refuel. We came across this trattoria through maps.
Small but very nice.
Very good food with top products.
Very clean and well maintained.
Not exactly cheap, but definitely recommended given the quality.

E' propio vero che l'abito non fa il monaco...La location esterna non era per niente invitante ma: interno con una sala non molto grande, tavoli ben distanziati ed imbanditi di tutto punto, servizio cortese, veloce e puntuale. Pulizia molto evidente in tutto il locale. Pietanze ( vedi foto parziali ) arrivate dopo circa 15 minuti, serviti caldi, ben impiattati e preparati con prodotti di assoluta qualità; 1 zuppa inglese, 1 gelato innaffiato con Pedro Ximenez + altri 2 dolci ( dei quali non ricordo i nomi ) tutti veramente eccellenti. In 4 e comprensivo di 4 caffè e 2 bottiglie di minerale abbiamo speso € 145,00 in totale. Complimenti al gestore ed ai camerieri.

Very pleasant experience. I went to dinner for the first time and the search for raw materials amazed me. I take as an example the cured meat appetizer which may seem trivial. I found flavors that I hadn't found for 20 years. And during the evening and morning I woke up without thirst. Which is really rare. To a less attentive eye, the traditional menu may seem a bit simple, but I can say that the ingredients are spatial so even a plate of tortelli can surprise you. The dishes of the day were very good. You can see that the owner is very knowledgeable. Very honest quality/price ratio.

Relaxing and low-noise environment, traditional dishes (pumpkin tortelli) and alternative proposals from meat to fish. Well-stocked cellar to satisfy all needs. Punctual and courteous service. Correct prices for the quality and quantity. Put in the diary so you can enjoy other proposals from the menu. Don't worry about where it is located, the place is welcoming and you are welcomed with affability and courtesy.
