Gesù Cristo in Taranto is an Italian fish restaurant that never ceases to amaze us! The dishes are fresh, prepared with love and bring the taste of the Mediterranean to your plate. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service of Giannaro and his father, who make every visit an experience with passion and genuine hospitality. Thanks to the excellent cuisine and wonderful service, we always like to come back and enjoy the authentic atmosphere.

Exceptional! We have been visiting Italian restaurants for 10 years and, tied with "Da Gino, on the port of Pisa, trattoria Gesus Cristo is truly our favorite restaurant. We had dinner there, then lunch the next day, that’s saying something! ... Always with the same happiness.

It is a historic and extraordinary place that you cannot miss if you visit Taranto. Fish restaurant which for generations has offered the best catch of the day to a pre-established and fixed menu. We sit down and wait for the "culinary" dances to begin. The fish arancini are delicious among the starters. The first courses vary depending on the availability of fish and the guests present, and are well prepared. We usually continue with a sea bream in salt and a delicious fried fish or calamari! Good presence of local wines. It ends with fruit and a dessert or with a digestive bitter. Price normal. Whether to go back or not? I know the answer.

Hier hat alles gestimmt! Das Essen war äußerst lecker, der Service freundlich und aufmerksam und der Preis unschlagbar!! Nur schade, dass ich nicht in Tarent wohne, sonst wäre ich bestimmt sein Stammgast gewesen.

19/05/2024: What to say? Simply thank you Monica, you are fantastic. We were there yesterday for a hen party, we booked the wellness program with super aperitif. Monica was an accomplice in all our pranks on the bride 😂. Exceptional staff. They pampered us with a reinforced aperitif and prosecco and a massage for the future bride as a gift. All perfect. We will see each other soon. Maggje
19/05/2024: We went to the Spa yesterday for a hen party... Everything was perfect! Unfortunately the weather was bad and the manager Monica, after having prepared everything for the aperitif outside, moved the organization to do it inside, the Spa is beautiful, welcoming, clean and functional... The buffet was fantastic, of quality, abundant and I must also say very rich in flavor and class, and it is rare to find that extra touch combined with abundance... The girls were very kind and extremely helpful, the water was always ice cold and was practically always around the corner ...and there were 12 of us, and we all had fun and relaxed... the bride also did the massage... So thank you so much Monica! You made us feel at home and super pampered! We will definitely be back ❤️
