trattoria genzianella In Rimasco

We found this little place on our way back from Carcoforo. This trattoria immediately struck us with its welcoming, family-like atmosphere. We found the food authentic, exquisite, and tasty. We spent less than €50 for two, including a first course, second course, dessert, and coffee. The view from this room, with its few intimate tables overlooking the lake, is breathtaking. We'll definitely be back. They accept dogs (our small dog).

Tasty local dishes prepared with care and overlooking the Rimasco lake. Very fair prices, friendly service, and even a good liqueur.

A small restaurant in the center of Rimasco, next to the Town Hall, this is one of the best and most welcoming in the entire valley. It's always crowded in the summer, so we chose mid-September to secure a table (always make a reservation!), but it was a beautiful day, still warm and sunny. We had ravioli with black butter, grilled trout, and buttered trout, all delicious. The desserts (zuppa inglese and bonet) were also excellent. I'm not usually a fan of trout, but this time it was truly delicious! We'll be back again.
