Tasty local dishes prepared with care and overlooking the Rimasco lake. Very fair prices, friendly service, and even a good liqueur.

A small restaurant in the center of Rimasco, next to the Town Hall, this is one of the best and most welcoming in the entire valley. It's always crowded in the summer, so we chose mid-September to secure a table (always make a reservation!), but it was a beautiful day, still warm and sunny. We had ravioli with black butter, grilled trout, and buttered trout, all delicious. The desserts (zuppa inglese and bonet) were also excellent. I'm not usually a fan of trout, but this time it was truly delicious! We'll be back again.

The restaurant is located above Lake Rimsko with a view of the mountains, lake, and reflections. It is advisable to sit on the covered terrace. Delicious, high-quality homemade food, prompt service, and they even speak a little English. It is recommended to come.

We didn't get into the restaurant because it was closed. There is a huge free parking lot nearby and wonderful views.

Excellent old-style trattoria overlooking Lake Rimasco. The place is very welcoming, excellent prices and very good dishes! I recommend the polenta concia and the grilled trout, they were truly spectacular!

Ristorante L'Armistizio 1848

02/11/2025: A fabulous restaurant in the Vercelli area. We went to this restaurant 3 years ago while it was in it's old location. This new location is just as comfortable, and provides a warm dining experience, with one side of the restaurant providing a lovely lakeside dining view. The food this time did not dissapoint as well and the local regional wines from this area of the Piemont were very great. The staff was awesome, friendly, and helpful. If you are passing though on the highway, getting to this restaruant will take a bit more time as Salasco is not a quick stop from the highway, but we recommend that you go anyway. It's a meal and service you will enjoy. We've decided to make it a regular stop on our regional weekend trips to Italy!
