Trattoria Gasparo In Brescia

A small and welcoming restaurant in the heart of Brescia, run by very friendly staff. I enjoyed excellent traditional Brescian dishes paired with good wine. The desserts deserve special mention, too!

An excellent dining experience at this trattoria in the center of Brescia. The staff was welcoming and very kind and attentive throughout the dinner. I had a well-made pasta with ragù, followed by a tender grilled beef fillet cooked medium rare with an impeccable mustard sauce. Overall, the dishes are carefully prepared using quality ingredients. The service was excellent, and I felt at home even though I was alone. The value for money was also excellent; I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Located on a side street in the historic center, it also has a few outdoor tables. The casoncelli (meatless pasta, typical of Brescian cuisine) with butter and sage were delicious. The cheese platter was good, as was the cod with polenta and potatoes, although the cream used in the sauce was a bit of a disappointment. The house wines are good. The coffee is excellent. Service is brisk but friendly and sincere, making it a much-appreciated experience.

Very good local food and drinks. Located in the city centre, you can enjoy it after seeing all the historical sites. The exterior and nearby restaurants can be really crowded, so my advise is to make a reservation to eat inside more calmly. It is a very busy place but the staff is professional and kind.

We visited this osteria in the center of Brescia twice in the same day. The first time for an aperitivo, we had a spritz accompanied by cicchetti: two meatballs and two mozzarella in carrozza, both delicious. We then returned for lunch. The service was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cured meats, but unfortunately the tripe was a bit bland and the tortellini were slightly undercooked. Overall, a so-so experience: nothing disastrous, but not memorable either. The bill was perhaps a bit high for what we ate.

Excellent Sunday lunch. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We had the goat as the dish of the day and the melt-in-your-mouth grilled beef fillet, as a dessert with chocolate salami. Everything was delicious, and they even served the bubbles in the right glass. Thanks guys!! We'll be back.

Immersed in a New Year's Eve-style atmosphere in the square, we had a Saturday lunch, enjoying the lively nightlife. Despite the crowds surrounding and invading the place, we ate excellent food in a timely manner and were perfectly served by a friendly and pleasant waiter. An absolutely positive experience.
