Trattoria Gargani In Firenze

The beautiful location is the strong point, the food is good and the prices are fair. Unfortunately, it's quite small and the tables are really too close together! What ruins the experience the most is the very loud music that starts at a certain point in the evening. Turning the volume down while keeping the music (which is pleasant) on would help people converse without having to shout to be heard.

Gorgeous food, service was excellent, will absolutely be on my to do list when I come back. Very happy

Interesting, atmosphere, with plenty of visual detail that gives the space character. We walked in for an early dinner and were able to get a table without difficulty. Portion sizes were quite small, and while the food was generally fine, nothing stood out in particular apart from the tiramisu, which was excellent. The staff were relaxed, helpful, and efficient. We were seated in the front room near the bar, which made the experience a bit noisy and busy, even though the restaurant was not especially crowded. Overall, it felt somewhat pricey relative to the quality and overall impression.

This was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had!!! The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted even better. Everything was fresh, perfectly balanced, and just genuinely delicious. You can really tell they put thought and care into every detail. The place itself is stunning. The interior is stylish, spacious, and very well designed. The atmosphere feels special but still comfortable at the same time. And the service made it even better. We were served by two guys, unfortunately we didn’t catch their names, but they were amazing. Very attentive, friendly, and professional. They made us feel welcome and truly cared for. It didn’t feel like just another dinner, it felt like a special experience. Definitely a must visit. We’ll absolutely be back.

Very delicious pasta and nice atmosphere!

Trattoria Garga My partner and I ended up at Trattoria Garga multiple times in one week-and by the end of our stay, it truly felt like home. From the moment we walked in, David and the entire staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, consistently going above and beyond to make each visit feel special. By the end of the week, we had tried nearly everything on the menu and genuinely loved every single dish. The food, the atmosphere, and the care put into every detail were exceptional. Each night in Florence somehow began or ended here-often with a relaxed nightcap-soaking in the romantic, cozy, and lively neighborhood feel that makes this place so special. My partner and I have traveled all over the world, and this is one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after the trip ends. Trattoria Garga became a meaningful part of why we fell in love with Florence. To David, the chef, and every single person who works there: thank you for your warmth, your hospitality, and for creating memories we will never forget. We can’t wait to return.

A very warm welcome in French! The staff were incredibly attentive. The food was very good, just a little too salty for my taste. The decor was unique and colorful.
