Trattoria Gargani In Firenze

OMG. We didn't intend to have dinner at Gargani. We were still full from lunch and were returning from an enoteca to our hotel across the street when we heard the music. It was so enticing that we slipped in for a drink. We don't dance. We're retired Silicon Valley engineers. We can't dance. We danced until midnight with the ENTIRE rest of the restaurant. It was an incredible spontaneous experience. The food was also delicious, Almost everyone else in the restaurant was Florentine, and they told us how to eat our pasta correctly, and they were right! (The cinghalie with extra pepper and parnesan.) The service was excellent, and they anticipated our needs before we knew them. We had an incredible time and can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

Friendly and kind (except when they came to tell us to leave the table... after only 40 minutes having dinner with pepper in the c... as well as on the fillet) Speaking of fillet, everything is delicious, but if all the second courses cost 20/25 euros, you recommend (that's a euphemism) something off the menu... and you make me pay 40... prices to be reviewed in short 4 plain rigatoni for the child 12 euros which, added to water 4.50 and cover charge 4.50 becomes 23.. 70 per person is fine for adults but..

Friendly and busy restaurant in central Florence. The decor is really fun with an almost Mexican twist. Great music to fit with the mood. The menu is varied with some exceptional choices. We started with the sardines which were perfect with bread and butter. The salty goodness was smoothed with the creamy butter. Mains were very tasty. I had the avocado with veal… Simply sublime. My partner had the chicken with asparagus. While both had a cream based sauce each were different but very flavourful. We had the baked potato’s to share which really were great for mopping up the sauce. Desserts were delicious, we tried all three - the tiramisu - light but aromatic, the chocolate cake, a nice soft crust and the most gooey delicious centre, and finally the cheesecake, Bellissimo!! All the desserts are made in house and highly recommended. Service was excellent considering how busy the place was. Loved the complimentary lemonchillo shots at the end. Great restaurant, be sure to add it to your list.

Stumbled into this place on the way past and glad we did. Amazing ambiance, friendly and lively. Everything we ate here was amazing but the atmosphere and service was the true winner. Highly recommended

Fun place. Very good service. Good food. Also good with children.

The hospitality of the staff, the taste and presentation of the food that was served were well through out. The combination of the balance of the tradition and the modernity is the vibe of the experience.

Siamo tornati a festeggiare un evento speciale , e le aspettative sono rimaste confermate e pienamente soddisfatte .. Locale romantico, poetico e soprattutto Pittoresco .. molto cordiali, accoglienti . Il cibo veramente BUONO .. Bellissima Serata!

Comida siempre buena. El personal siempre amable y rápido. Baño super limpio. y hay muy buen ambiente en el restaurante. Recomiendo el pici y el pollo chantal.
