Trattoria Gaia In Terruggia

A beautiful bachelor party lunch at the Gaia restaurant. We met at this restaurant among friends and new acquaintances. At the entrance, Mirco, the owner, greeted us. After looking at our shirts, he told us they were a bit out of place, but with a smile, he kindly showed us a seat. We had tagliatelle with meat sauce, followed by shank and salami with potatoes. To finish, a round of amari and limoncello. Five stars only for your patience with us, given the noise we were making. You remained professional and courteous. Well done. We will definitely return in a more modest way. 😊

Gaia was a delightful discovery. I happened to see the sign while driving by, so I went for dinner the first time, and then returned twice more in 10 days. The food was excellent, the owners were friendly and helpful, and the place was welcoming. What else? I can't wait to try the outdoor seating area in the warmer months.

Twelve of us showed up at 2 PM without a reservation, and yet we were greeted with enthusiasm. We ate from appetizer to dessert, and everything was truly delicious! Highly recommended, both for the food and the service, which was truly exceptional! It shows when you love your job!

A great impromptu Sunday lunch. They welcomed us very kindly, despite the hour and short notice. We had a great time!!

Friendly service and truly well-prepared dishes. A trattoria like it once was. A little more lighting outside in the parking area would be helpful.

We booked after seeing the many positive reviews, and I must say it even exceeded our expectations. The appetizers and agnolotti were excellent. The recommended menu also included a main course, but given the generous portions of agnolotti, we didn't make it. The atmosphere is rustic but welcoming, with an old-world feel. From the outside, it doesn't look particularly appealing, but the interior is very well-kept. The owners are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

A homely trattoria in a casual yet clean atmosphere. We had lunch with a group on Sunday. They serve cured meat appetizers, including local cooked salami (very good), and truly tasty tartare, along with various other entrees. We only had two first courses: mushroom risotto (porcini) and truly spectacular agnolotti. Honestly, the second courses would have been too much, so we stopped for the trio of desserts (but I highly recommend the homemade apple and hazelnut cake), with coffee and wine, including water. One of the places I'll definitely return to when I'm in the area again.

Discovered by chance a few years ago and never left. We come here from Turin whenever we can to spend time with Mirko and his staff and ALWAYS enjoy truly delicious food. I hope it never changes. This is a place that will always remain in our hearts.
