You have to take the beef, forget the sausages or pigs which are certainly perfectly prepared but are not worth the concept of the restaurant (there was however 'fiorentina' suckling pig on the menu but it was out of stock :-). There is a giant grill inside in the typical Romagna fireplace type on which they cook the meats. The meats are succulent. There are local and matured meats. As usual in Italy the plate is only garnished with meat, you have to order a 'contorno' if you want vegetables.

It's a place I return to once or twice a year. The food is excellent, both in terms of raw materials and preparation, the service is friendly but attentive, the atmosphere is familiar. I don't like meat, but there is so much more and it's all really good. I recommend it to all palates, I would say the best in the valley.

When I was young this was quite a famous tavern, where you could enjoy nice roasted meat, typichal local lof pasta like "tagliatelle" or "tortelli" hand made for very affordables prices in extralarge portions. Now the place is lead by Riccardo: the son of the sister of the previous owner. He modernized and renewed all the rooms and now this place look like a little resturant with tavern tables. Portions now are normal and prices are in the medium to high for what you got. Also unbranded (and good for the money) wine once sold on carafe and the few local bottled wine has been replaced by a wine corner with some nice bottles. Very prompt service.

You eat well, there's no doubt about it.
The waiter is available and prepared.
The location is pricey but nothing special; it is very hot inside because being small and having the embers of the meat visible, it heats up a lot.
Book because there are few places and bring a wallet full of banknotes

Il locale si trova in paese vicino al fiume Santerno ,non molto grande con cucina e caminetto a vista . Propone buoni antipasti ottimi primi e carne alla brace di ottima qualità. Buona carta di vini locali . Servizio e prezzi nella norma.

Questo weekend abbiamo provato questa stravagante trattoria dal sapore rustico ed autentico. Il personale rispecchia in pieno il locale. Carne deliziosa !! La scelta è varia e spaziosa partendo dagli antipasti fino ai contorni, con molte proposte fuori menù. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ci torneremo sicuramente !! Bravi e simpatici!
