We had dinner on the night of Ferragosto. We were very satisfied.
The staff was very kind and offered excellent recommendations.
The menu changes daily, even between lunch and dinner, and although it's written in dialect, the waiters explain it calmly and word for word.
We ordered the zucchini flowers, and asked for them without the anchovies because my fiancée is vegetarian. They had no problem accommodating our request as they are prepared fresh.
The fava bean purée and the artisanal sagne 'ncannulate with horse meat sauce were also excellent.
The desserts were sublime; we had a mandarin sorbet and a dark chocolate and orange spumone, both absolutely delicious.
We also enjoyed the house red wine.
The staff and the owner were kind and courteous. The prices are fair.
They were also extremely kind when we stopped by the next morning to pick up the city guide we'd forgotten. They showed up at the restaurant early in the morning specifically to return it to us.

Excellent traditional Salento cuisine, friendly staff, and a spotlessly clean place. Perhaps one of the few places in Lecce with sparkling bathrooms. Highly recommended! Oh, and you can also listen to great music (REM, Dire Straits, etc.)!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable dinner with friends – Trattoria Fiori di Zucca, Lecce
One of those evenings you remember for a long, long time.
We visited this trattoria with a group of friends and can say without hesitation: it was a complete success in every way!
As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. The setting is simple yet refined, with an authentic and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a dinner with friends. The staff was extremely kind, warm, and always available, with a smile and a quick joke, making everything even more enjoyable.

🍽 The food? A true delight.
We started with a selection of local appetizers: grilled vegetables, fried zucchini flowers (also available in a gluten-free version, perfect!), local cheeses, and cured meats.
Then came the traditional Salento first courses: some chose sagne 'ncannulate with sauce, others chose ciceri e tria, others chose pieces of horse meat. All served hot, plentiful, and with bold yet balanced flavors.
The second courses were also there—meatballs with sauce, roulades, turnips 'nfucate—and of course the homemade desserts: the panna cotta was a winner.

🍷 House wine and lots of laughter
We washed everything down with an excellent house wine, and between toasts and conversation, the evening flew by.
The bill? Very fair, especially considering the quality, quantity, and hospitality we received.

Trattoria tipica con cucina del posto. Servizio semplice e attento. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusto. Attrezzati ed attenti sul senza glutine. Tutto buono.
Il menu in leccese io l'ho trovato simpatico e devo anche dire che il proprietario è stato gentilissimo a tradurlo parola per parola però magari potrebbe esserci chi non è del posto e preferirebbe il menu in italiano. Ripeto: io lo trovo simpatico, ma consiglierei al proprietario di farne anche uno di riserva per chi non vuole sforzarsi. A me è piaciuto e se sarò di nuovo a Lecce ci tornerò senz'altro

I'll start by saying that we're not from the area, we looked for this place on the internet reading the reviews that fully reflect what they say. We were welcomed and served with extreme kindness, attention to serving gluten-free dishes and recommending the dishes.
We couldn't read the menu in dialect but the owner translated and explained all the dishes to us!
I recommend the courgette flowers and the very tender horse meat...not to mention the potatoes and mussels....linguine with sea urchins, a scent....
A place to return and recommend for celiacs and non-celiacs!

WONDERFUL! From the food to the service, to the atmosphere: everything is taken care of down to the smallest details.
Menu in dialect and staff very willing to translate 😂
Jokes aside, truly excellent.
We ate fried courgette flowers as an appetizer (they prepared them for me on the spot without anchovies) and two first courses, one of which was typical, with local peas 🫛 and a delicate ragù, spectacular!
