We had lunch at this place which offers typical Lecce cuisine. We started lunch by taking gluten-free fried foods and mixed vegetables as appetizers, needless to say they were delicious. Furthermore, we also decided to have the gluten-free fried courgette flowers and we understood why the place is named after this dish, they were spectacular. Continuing we took two first courses, also of excellent quality. The service was super, a lot of attention to the customer especially regarding allergies. Super recommended, especially for celiac people. Compliments.

Very good cuisine, clear portions and a friendly patron and helpful waiter. Was here twice, starter: fried zucchini flowers stuffed with anchovies, very good. Baccala with sugo, good and unfortunately small portion. Baked pasta, delicious. Tonno, grilled, excellent. Prices are moderate, as I said, construction workers don't get enough here. I can still recommend the trattoria. Good house wine, nice restaurant, a bit away from the old town. You don't just find it in passing. Lots of locals, always a good sign... You should know a few sentences of Italian, after all, that's an expression of politeness.

A detail that makes everything even more special is the family management: the owner welcomes guests with great kindness and passion, while in the kitchen his wife prepares dishes that reflect the Salento tradition. The menu, also written in Lecce dialect, adds a touch of authenticity. You can't get more homely than this! Highly recommended for those who want to taste the true flavor of Salento.

Excellent trattoria with truly local typical dishes also in the qualified choice of raw materials, all from the area. The owner and the staff are very helpful and welcoming as in the best Salento tradition. The menu in the local language requires a translation which encourages dialogue between the waiter and the customer. Very simple atmosphere of the place, without frills; suitable for those who prefer good substance to form. I recommend you do several tastings and don't miss out on ciceri and tria, chicory and broad beans, or the splendid parmigiana with a truly original and tasty sauce. The price is not excessive, adequate for the quality of good food. Highly recommended.

Siamo tornati con mia moglie al ristorante Fiori di Zucca di Lecce.ancavamo da un poco, ma abbiamo trovato la cordialità di sempre ed insapori della cucina salentina. Pasta fatta in casa con ragù e polpettine, muersi fritti, fave e cicorie, ciceri e tria, rape nfucate, paperine nfucate, e tanto altro. Abbiamo gustato in primo, con due seconde ed un assaggio di varie verdure. Tutto superlativo ed accompagnato da un primitivo gioviale locale vellutato al palato, delicato ed allo stesso tempo deciso, leggermente dolce,fruttato. Straordinario. Il Salento offre molto in termini di paesaggi, monumenti ed anche come l'ansia cucina che nasce da una cultura contadina, semplice, saporita e genuina. Se si é a Lecce, qualunque sia il motivo, per gustare i sapori di questa terra generosa, consiglio vivamente una visita al ristorante Fiori di Zucca.
