Il menu in leccese io l'ho trovato simpatico e devo anche dire che il proprietario è stato gentilissimo a tradurlo parola per parola però magari potrebbe esserci chi non è del posto e preferirebbe il menu in italiano. Ripeto: io lo trovo simpatico, ma consiglierei al proprietario di farne anche uno di riserva per chi non vuole sforzarsi. A me è piaciuto e se sarò di nuovo a Lecce ci tornerò senz'altro

I'll start by saying that we're not from the area, we looked for this place on the internet reading the reviews that fully reflect what they say. We were welcomed and served with extreme kindness, attention to serving gluten-free dishes and recommending the dishes.
We couldn't read the menu in dialect but the owner translated and explained all the dishes to us!
I recommend the courgette flowers and the very tender horse meat...not to mention the potatoes and mussels....linguine with sea urchins, a scent....
A place to return and recommend for celiacs and non-celiacs!

WONDERFUL! From the food to the service, to the atmosphere: everything is taken care of down to the smallest details.
Menu in dialect and staff very willing to translate 😂
Jokes aside, truly excellent.
We ate fried courgette flowers as an appetizer (they prepared them for me on the spot without anchovies) and two first courses, one of which was typical, with local peas 🫛 and a delicate ragù, spectacular!

Sunday lunch with the family. The menu is calibrated on a typical, home-made, excellent cuisine. Excellent ingredients, excellent wine list. The Chef, Mrs. Lucia, cooks in the restaurant exactly as she cooks at home. The love is felt in every bite. From appetizer to dessert. In the dining room, the owner Bepi. His secret ingredient is sympathy and irony. Excellent lunch seasoned with excellent laughter. Thank you.

I have no words to describe how good this place was. By the time you sit down and receive a menu completely in Pugliese dialect you know it won’t disappoint. This place offers authentic top-notch Italian cuisine at a really good price.
We had 3 dishes, all of them really local and probably only found in Puglia: friselle, ciceri e tria, and parmigiana china alla leccese (this one we didn’t even know it existed, but it was incredible). They were all out of this world. You can literally taste how homemade the food is. In particular, this ciceri e tria has been my favorite dish while visiting Puglia. The quality of all the ingredients is outstanding, and the portions are REALLY generous.
We spent 7 EUR for the friselle, 12 EUR for the ciceri e tria, and 14 EUR for the parmigiana. Watch out that you’ll be charged 2.50 EUR per person as a service fee (the famous “coperto”), which may unexpectedly increase your bill a bit.

We had lunch at this place which offers typical Lecce cuisine.
We started lunch by taking gluten-free fried foods and mixed vegetables as appetizers, needless to say they were delicious.
Furthermore, we also decided to have the gluten-free fried courgette flowers and we understood why the place is named after this dish, they were spectacular.
Continuing we took two first courses, also of excellent quality.
The service was super, a lot of attention to the customer especially regarding allergies.
Super recommended, especially for celiac people.

Very good cuisine, clear portions and a friendly patron and helpful waiter. Was here twice, starter: fried zucchini flowers stuffed with anchovies, very good. Baccala with sugo, good and unfortunately small portion. Baked pasta, delicious. Tonno, grilled, excellent. Prices are moderate, as I said, construction workers don't get enough here. I can still recommend the trattoria. Good house wine, nice restaurant, a bit away from the old town. You don't just find it in passing. Lots of locals, always a good sign... You should know a few sentences of Italian, after all, that's an expression of politeness.
