We returned with my wife to the Fiori di Zucca restaurant in Lecce. We had been missing for a while, but we found the usual friendliness and tastelessness of Salento cuisine. Homemade pasta with ragù and meatballs, fried muersi, broad beans and chicory, ciceri and tria, nfucate turnips, nfucate ducklings, and much more. We enjoyed the first course, with two second courses and a taste of various vegetables. All superlative and accompanied by a jovial local primitivo velvety on the palate, delicate and at the same time strong, slightly sweet, fruity. Extraordinary. Salento offers a lot in terms of landscapes, monuments and also the cuisine that comes from a simple, tasty and genuine peasant culture. If you are in Lecce, whatever the reason, to enjoy the flavors of this generous land, I highly recommend a visit to the Fiori di Zucca restaurant.

Typical, familiar cuisine, with exceptional and unique flavours!
Manager and staff who put you at ease, explain the menu (written strictly in dialect!) and advise. A wonderful dinner!
A rare place❤️

Salento can be heard loud and clear here. The menu is extensive but you have to have it explained because there is so much history and popular tradition!
But the owner doesn't fill his mouth with words like these without knowing what he offers and I guarantee that the food here is truly exceptional.
The choice of desserts is also perfect.
They don't get a single one wrong!

Excellent dinner experience. Typical local products cooked according to tradition. Very good relationship between quality and price. Tastings of fried peppers, breaded and fried courgette flowers. Excellent Leccese parmigiana with hard-boiled egg, mortadella and layered as is right. A fantastic Ciceri and tria. Horse meat specialities, good desserts. Cozy, clean and simple environment. Good service. The area is near the Vito Fazzi hospital.

We went to Trattoria Fiori di Zucca for dinner because as a celiac I was looking for a place to eat without problems, and so it was, in fact here you can find all the dishes also in gluten-free versions. The menu is rustic, not banal and prepared with care; the best thing of all was the battered courgette flowers, I highly recommend. A note of merit goes to the waiter, a person capable of immediately putting you at ease and cheering you up while also knowing how to advise you with care and attention.

I find it incredible that a (small) plate of broad beans and chicory can cost 12 euros

Ad hoc Lecce restaurant. Menu in dialect like the old times, praising traditional dishes and authentic flavours. My boyfriend and I, both vegans, were more than satisfied with the service we received. The waiter was ready to fulfill every request and not only that, he himself knew how to best manage our dinner by offering us the best dishes that the Apulian land could offer us. We absolutely recommend this Trattoria, with nostalgic background music, friendliness and friendliness that accompanied everything. We are only sorry that we cannot attach any photos of the dishes, but they were so appetizing that we forgot to photograph such delicacy.

Partiamo dalle cose positive:
- locale grazioso e personale gentile
- piatti della vera tradizione salentina eseguiti in maniera discreta
- personale gentile
- prezzi nella norma
Meno bene:
