In the heart of Lecce, I discovered a trattoria that authentically embodies the soul of Salento. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with simple furnishings reminiscent of rural tradition. The most striking feature is the menu written entirely in the Lecce dialect: a detail that isn't just folkloristic, but a true act of love for the region. Each dish tells a story, starting with the name.
The cuisine is excellent. The orecchiette with turnip greens is flavorful and perfectly creamed, while the ciceri e tria is prepared according to tradition, with the perfect balance of fried and boiled pasta. The grilled meat is tender and fragrant, while the local vegetable appetizers showcase the freshness of the ingredients. The homemade desserts also deserve a special mention.
The service is impeccable: the waiter is attentive, friendly, and always ready to explain the dishes with passion. A delicious dinner featuring regional cuisine.
Good selection: dishes, at least for what we ordered, weren't abundant. The horse rib was good, well-rounded.
Friendly and attentive staff.
Prices were above average.
I would definitely return to try other dishes.

The atmosphere is a bit of a mix between a trattoria and a restaurant, but the flavors and ingredients are of the highest quality.

Good traditional Salento food and friendly service.
The decor is a bit retro.
Prices are average for the season, so a bit expensive, but they're worth the quality.
This is my second time here, thanks to work and the proximity to the hotel.

A typical Salento trattoria. The vegetable dishes are unique, and there are many options.
The menu is written in dialect and is charming. The portions are perhaps a little small compared to the prices.
We may have overdone it by ordering several dishes because we wanted to try everything, and the price was a bit high. But it's true that we could have ordered less.
Chicory, Catalogna chicory, stewed turnips, and many other interesting vegetables to try.
This place's specialty is the fried and stuffed zucchini flowers, absolutely worth trying.
The service could perhaps be improved a little.
