We returned after several years and had a truly wonderful time. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the hospitality was unparalleled. And above all, the prices were excellent. Thank you for your hospitality, we'll be back 😘

We ate well, the location was simple but welcoming (the fireplace/grill was visible), the staff were friendly, and the quality/price ratio was good. Recommended.

You know when you enter those places where you feel at home??? Well, this is the right place!!! For me, just seeing the flag with the Four Moors was exciting.....then talking and being served by a "countryman" 😍 Excellent food! Lots of it! Absolutely affordable prices!! Typical Roman and Sardinian dishes!!!! And when you get to taste the seadas 🎉 well, childhood memories, 🥰 the beautiful ones, the ones that overwhelm you!!! 🫶 Thank you so much for your kindness, kindness, and professionalism!!! 🔝🔝 Absolutely recommended See you soon, I hope 🤞

It's an informal place, the food is excellent as is the friendliness of the owners, not to mention Gianni, the waiter, who is always friendly, helpful and also nice. You don't spend a lot, it's highly recommended.

Rifugio al Vecchio Fienile

15/03/2026: Last night I was in Genzano with 10 other friends for a training course, and we made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant: we ate divinely! As a vegan, I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of their efforts to prepare something original and delicious for me...which is definitely not a given. The location is truly unique, and the staff is friendly and welcoming! A truly wonderful discovery!
16/02/2026: A family Sunday... This is what my partner and I spent yesterday in this magical little corner. It was our first time, but with the owners, it was as if we had known each other for years. Hospitality, friendliness, and a very characteristic atmosphere. The food? Well, even though we had just had breakfast, we didn't miss a thing, from the superlative appetizer (made with quality products), to the homemade pasta with flavorful yet delicate wild boar ragù, to the Roman braciola. And then what do you do? Not having a dessert? That amaretto semifreddo... truly TOP. We'll make sure to be in the area some other time, because we know where to stop. See you soon.
