The Favre restaurant is a typical family-run restaurant, off the beaten track, 10 minutes from the town of Nus. Here it is possible to savor the true cuisine of the area, immersed in the calm (of the surrounding landscape and the restaurant staff).
There is no menu: the dishes are presented by the waiters verbally. The starters (divided into several courses) are excellent and allow you to taste more products. There are few first courses and few second courses, an indication of the quality of the raw materials used.
The doses are absolutely adequate, allowing you to taste more dishes. Three of us went for lunch and ate appetizers, two first courses, one second course and two desserts. All for a total of €70: for the quality of the food, an absolutely competitive price.
Pay attention to the opening days: the restaurant is in fact only open from Friday to Sunday.
If you are in a hurry or are looking for a touristy and flashy menu to post on social media, go somewhere else: this is a place for those who appreciate local cuisine.

Conoscevo questo locale e si è riconfermato ottimo, sotto tutti i punti di vista.
Accoglienza familiare e calorosa. Non si ha un menù da leggere. I piatti vengono elencati dal personale di sala. Ottimi gli antipasti (salumi, lingua in salsa, tomini) così come i primi e i secondi. Molto buono anche il vino della casa. Consiglio di finire in bellezza, con un caffè alla valdostana.

We went to this restaurant for dinner with the family during the winter holidays and we were very satisfied. The place is very welcoming and warm. The owners who served us were very nice and let us taste many dishes of Aosta Valley cuisine, an excellent wine and local bitters. Value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!

Old-time trattoria that only opens on weekends.
Simple and informal environment.
We were offered and I would honestly say imposed a menu (local dishes) which started with various tastings of appetizers and then continued with two first courses, a second course with side dish, dessert, coffee, bitters and drinks all included for 35.00 euros.
It can be good for many people except those who perhaps rightly want to eat less or other things of their choice.
However, I recommend it for quality, price and hospitality.
