Good traditional fish restaurant in the heart of Parioli.

Very welcoming location with attention to detail, positive reception already on the phone to book, even though I was late with the booking they found a place for two. We entrusted ourselves with standing ovation starters and first courses (I recommend following their advice, in particular that of the head sommelier Giovanni Conte, an exquisite and approachable person). First tops... Exceptional desserts made by them.. On wine... I love to drink well but I'm not very expert, he is a very respectable sommelier. A good wine was recommended, but above all a lot of information was explained and accompanied by what we were eating. Treatment like this is now rare. Everyone thinks about quantity and the clock. Really good! 5 stars deserved.. I'm sorry we're a bit far away otherwise I would come more often.

A few evenings ago I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Fauro for the second time. The quality of the dishes is extraordinary, the result of a continuous search for the best fresh products. Each course, from the first courses to the seafood second courses, to the bitters, is a riot of authentic and well-balanced flavours. Giovanni Battista manages to create an atmosphere where you immediately feel at home, each course is explained and illustrated, with consequent advice on suitable wines to accompany the meal; also on this side the proposals are not banal, deviating from the usual commercial wines that everyone has, stimulating the curiosity of those like me who are passionate and look for bottles from small producers. His passion and attention to detail make Trattoria Fauro an unmissable place for lovers of the taste of good company and the pleasure of eating well! Thank you! I will definitely be back soon!
