This is the place for true Roman cuisine, welcoming, warm, and wonderfully simple, like grandma's cooking. I was there yesterday and tried everything from appetizers to dessert. I must say that every course was perfect. The service is courteous and very attentive. The staff make you feel at ease. When they explain the dishes, their passion for what they do shines through. EXCELLENT! See you soon!

Truly a great experience. The place is small but very welcoming. The prices are affordable and the food is truly delicious. If I ever return to Rome, I would definitely come back. One of the best places to eat traditional Roman cuisine.

I entered Trattoria Etruria expecting to enjoy an authentic Roman meal, and from the first impression I knew it wasn't one of those "ghost" trattorias for tourists. The atmosphere is simple, without frills, but it immediately smells of home cooking: tablecloths, the chatter of other diners, and a cheerful buzz that puts you at ease.
I sat down without a reservation, and even though the place was packed (very few seats are empty at lunch), I was served quickly; I immediately sensed a warm, informal, yet efficient atmosphere.
For my appetizer, I had fried zucchini flowers, crispy and not greasy, which immediately showed me the care they take in preparing the ingredients.
The highlight for me was the carbonara: the pasta was perfectly cooked, perfectly creamy, with crispy and flavorful guanciale, and well-measured pepper—a balance rarely found outside of Roman tradition.
I also tried the slow-cooked and flavorful oxtail stew, and the tender tripe, seasoned with the bold flavor you'd expect from a true neighborhood trattoria.
The service was friendly, with waiters who knew the menu well and didn't hesitate to recommend the house specials. Despite the restaurant being quite crowded, I never waited too long and felt cared for as if I were a regular.
I finished with a zabaglione dessert, light and delicious after such a flavorful dinner.
The prices are more than fair for Rome (around €20–30 per person for a full meal), especially considering the quality and quantity of the dishes.
In short, for me, Trattoria Etruria was one of those experiences you can't help but recommend: well-executed traditional Roman cuisine, a genuine atmosphere, friendly staff, and a value that's hard to beat in the capital.

A restaurant from another era, immersed in a typical Roman setting, simple and authentic. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The dishes are simply special, including a competition-worthy carbonara.
Fair prices, highly recommended. Located in a strategic area. Reservations are recommended.
