We stopped here for lunch after strolling around the harbor. We ordered two regular trofie al pesto. The portions were generous. Excellent value. Fast service. The waiters were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Incredible sea food for a good price! A hidden gem

An absolute insider tip. The food was delicious, the courtyard is cozy, and you can sit amidst Genoa's landmark, the high streets. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The portions were generous and inexpensive.

It really is an insider tip for Ligurian cuisine and the price-performance ratio is very good here. Please don't expect unusual and special dishes. But the sauces are finely balanced and the Ligurian dishes are beautifully put together. Something different to the usual here, there are capers and beans in the dishes and really delicious sauces, a bit off the beaten track and the service is funny too. He sang along to the music and was really friendly. It's down a small side street. It's probably nicer to sit outside on the terraces and there are great people, but for us it was just about something quick after a long walk through the alleys, something really good and not feeling ripped off. This is the right place for that. We'd love to come back when we're in Genoa again.
