A very elegant place, with private parking, friendly staff, and delicious food. Prices are a bit high for a trattoria, but overall, it's worth it.

One evening, almost by chance, I stumbled upon Trattoria Donnini in Florence, and that visit turned out to be a delightful discovery. Here, you can experience the authenticity of Florentine tradition, thanks to the ancient and sincere flavors that Gianmarco prepares with mastery and passion. Each dish tells a story, made of genuine ingredients and timeless recipes. A selection of excellent wines accompanies these delicacies, perfectly complementing every bite. But what truly makes this place special is the warm and sincere welcome: Signora Rosa's smiles are like an embrace that makes the atmosphere familiar and unique. If you're looking for an authentic corner where you can savor the true Florence, Donnini is undoubtedly an unmissable stop.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. We had fried flowers and fried pecorino cheese. For our second course, we had flower gnudi with truffle and guinea fowl bites with chanterelles. One dessert, one piece of fruit, and two coffees. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The food was delicious, both the steaks and the truffle pasta. The friendly staff even prepared a special dish for the child! We highly recommend it!

A trattoria unlike any other. Recommended.

During a business trip, passing through the area, I happened to stop at the Donnini restaurant during a quick lunch break, together with a colleague. Personally, when I can have lunch in a restaurant, I love the almost family atmosphere that you breathe, and the fact of being able to taste traditional dishes. This restaurant fully met my expectations: I found a welcoming environment, excellent food and a courteous and rapid service. Only two less positive notes: first of all, the background music (I think it was a kind of bossa nova), seemed inconsistent with the restaurant environment, where in my opinion only space should be given to dialogue between diners. Secondly, I found the price of €76 for two people slightly too high, based on what we ate and the fact that it was a business lunch. I considered the appetizer and dessert a little too expensive, especially, and I think that a price under €70 would have been more fair. In short, this does not take anything away from the value of this trattoria, which I recommend to anyone who is in the area. I myself would go back again.

An old house transformed into a typical Tuscan trattoria where you can taste all the Florentine dishes
