Trattoria Donnini In Bagno a ripoli

During a business trip, passing through the area, I happened to stop at the Donnini restaurant during a quick lunch break, together with a colleague. Personally, when I can have lunch in a restaurant, I love the almost family atmosphere that you breathe, and the fact of being able to taste traditional dishes. This restaurant fully met my expectations: I found a welcoming environment, excellent food and a courteous and rapid service. Only two less positive notes: first of all, the background music (I think it was a kind of bossa nova), seemed inconsistent with the restaurant environment, where in my opinion only space should be given to dialogue between diners. Secondly, I found the price of €76 for two people slightly too high, based on what we ate and the fact that it was a business lunch. I considered the appetizer and dessert a little too expensive, especially, and I think that a price under €70 would have been more fair. In short, this does not take anything away from the value of this trattoria, which I recommend to anyone who is in the area. I myself would go back again.

Historic trattoria Donnini, what can I say, the owner knows how to make you feel at home. I compliment the staff for their friendliness and kindness, they are all young but they know what they are doing! The menu winks at tradition and grandma's cooking! But in reality it is very revisited and presented in a modern way! Good price for the high quality of the materials used! I highly recommend it!

Nice place great food, very tasty beef steak! Highly recommending! But check your bill before paying, they might make mistakes… for instead replacing your ribs steak with a more expensive filet steak, not in your plate but on your bill…

We truly enjoyed the food—it was delicious and beautifully presented. Waitress was very polite and friendly from the beginning, which made us feel welcome. After she asked where we were from and we said “Turkey,” her attitude became even warmer and more attentive:) This thoughtful gesture made our experience even more memorable. We sincerely appreciate the hospitality and highly recommend this place to all Turkish visitors—it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy great food and a warm atmosphere.

In questa trattoria le porzioni sono generose e di ottima qualità. antipasto uovo e tartufo con ben tre uova. cibo tipico toscano con ottima bistecca e cantina molto ben fornita. spesa alta forse troppo.
