I’ve been up and down Italy seeking out the best food everywhere I go, and this is absolutely one of the best meals I’ve had in over 20 years visiting this country.
Not only is the food good, but the owner and staff are super friendly and gracious. They are booked solid every night and don’t even really need to open the door if they don’t want to. But they will tell anyone that tries to get in without a reservation what the situation is and the best way to get in. Lovely place I will be back many times

A good recommendation for Bologna. Delicious regional food, very friendly service, and definitely worth a visit. It's worth making a reservation, and it's best to stop by in person a few days in advance… we never managed to book by phone.

What can I say? One of the best trattorias in Bologna, if not the best. I've been there several times, and each time the food was perfect in every way; the staff and atmosphere make you feel right at home. A true gem.

While passing through Bologna, we decided to celebrate our birthday at this restaurant!
The atmosphere is simple yet welcoming.
The dishes are presented and described by the wait staff and the owner with great passion, making your mouth water.
We enjoyed green lasagna and tagliatelle with mushrooms, roast beef with tuna sauce, and beef and mushroom meatballs: everything was a true taste surprise!
A harmony of flavors, which concluded, "dulcis in fundo," with ricotta cake with raspberry sauce: a true delight for the palate, complete with a candle for the birthday girl.
Finally, the quality/price ratio is also excellent.
Highly recommended! Next time we're in Bologna, we'll definitely be back.

If you are familiar with the slow food movement, you will definitely appreciate this Restaurant. I would come to Bologna just to eat here again!
The recipes use authentic ingredients from this area that you do not find in a typical mass produced Italian food restaurant.
The appetizer was amazing and the owner explained how it was prepared and the ingredients used.
The pasta and the main course were equally amazing. We had a traditional tagliatelle with a Bolognese sauce that was homemade using local ingredients. We also had the meatballs and porcini mushrooms in the mushroom sauce that really added a great depth and flavor to the meal.
If you come here, you will not be disappointed!

Typical menu with very good dishes.
A typical inn run by a very kind, professional, and knowledgeable young couple.
