Montemagno is a stop on our Tuscan-Umbrian tour! Elisa, our host, highly recommended this trattoria for a delicious, traditional dinner. We were thrilled with our choice!! Everything was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and courteous!! The gelato was highly recommended!!! And the bitter orange liqueur 😋🤪

A small restaurant with tables in front of the house and on a small square with a very family atmosphere. The dishes are rustic and good and at low prices. You must book to get a place because it is very popular.

Tuscan and homey, done as it should be. The menu is limited and updated regularly, featuring tasty, traditional, and never boring dishes (p.s.: they often sell out during dinner; first-come, first-served). Rustic location, on a slightly sloping village street surrounded by houses. Friendly, fast, and attentive staff. Perfect for a dinner with friends or family. Reservations are a must; it's rare to find a table by calling the day before.

I returned to this place that I have been going to for years. I am very sorry to say that the service has become embarrassing. They are so quick to clear the plate that I had to tell them for both courses to leave it to me because I was still eating. They took it away from all the other diners anyway, but I find it strange because they don't have a double shift.
Putting all this haste on a convivial moment, sometimes unfortunately the only one in which we get together, is really unpleasant. We finished dinner in record time, but what good did it do them?

Typical trattoria with a traditional menu and affordable prices. The place is pleasant even if not particularly well-kept.
The dishes, however, were very predictable in their preparation and without grit. 'Minimalist' appetizers. Interesting but not very convincing main courses. Local wine of medium-low level.
