We had lunch at this trattoria with a group of seven. The restaurant, although small, is well-maintained and welcoming. The menu includes Roman specialties and traditional Bolognese dishes. We sampled several Roman dishes, including rigatoni alla gricia and cacio e pepe zucchini flowers: flavorful, tasty, and made with top-quality ingredients. The Bolognese cuisine was equally good, with an excellent capon broth accompanied by equally well-executed passatelli. The desserts, of which we sampled several varieties, were also delightful. We didn't have the opportunity to try the pizzas, as they only serve for dinner. One slightly negative note was the service, which was rather slow despite the restaurant not being particularly busy; furthermore, one of the entrees we ordered was never brought to our table. The prices are a bit high for some dishes, but broadly in line with average prices. Overall, a positive experience. Recommended.

Trattoria Veturia, a haven of peace and flavor in the heart of the Vedrana countryside in the province of Bologna, is a true gem for those who love good food and an authentic atmosphere. As soon as you arrive, you immediately sense the care and passion with which this restaurant is run. The staff is extremely courteous and attentive, always ready to make every customer feel pampered and at ease. A special mention goes to the young waitress, incredibly quick and tireless, who literally hops from table to table: she seems everywhere, but without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is a perfect blend of Bolognese and Roman traditions: dishes that tell family stories, but with a creative and modern twist that makes them unique. Elegant to the eye and rich in flavor, each dish is crafted down to the smallest detail. I particularly recommend the "Carbonara Veturia," tortelli filled with carbonara dough, crispy bacon, and truffle shavings. There's a clearly visible wood-fired oven that churns out original and delicious pizzas with well-leavened dough. Not to mention the desserts, the ultimate treat: delicate yet enveloping, they round out the meal with balance and refinement. The atmosphere is quiet, welcoming, and versatile: perfect for both a family dinner and a romantic date. And, as the icing on the cake, if the evening permits, the kitchen staff will pass between the tables, exchanging a few words with customers. Small and cozy place, the first and second courses are truly excellent, not to mention the rest and desserts. Everything is homemade and made with top-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it.
