The previous reviewer said, "Well, I liked it." I'd say, "I loved it." For several reasons: 1. You leave the typical "restaurant for tourists" circuit and move on to "cuisine for Romans." Everything is very home-style. It's a carousel of delights, from the appetizers to the final coffee. The great thing is that you don't have to choose; it's a set menu. Whatever's on offer that day. But there's nothing you won't like. Everything is exquisite. See the photos of that day's menu. By the way, the fixed price is €35. Highly recommended.

Very homey. Excellent service, the waiter is very friendly and attentive. It's definitely worth a visit. The menu is very varied. We really enjoyed it. There's also an ancient Roman area in the basement. Price: 35 euros per person with a drink and dessert. We really enjoyed the white wine.

Perfect 🥰 100% traditional food!! It's the best carbonara pasta I've ever eaten!!! The man who serves is a delight and the food is a 10 out of 10. Great quantity and quality.

Good food, nice staff, good atmosphere. The waiters are very welcoming and nice. The food was delicious, small, lovely dishes, authentic. Had options for both gluten-allergic and vegetarians. Can highly recommend this.

Absolutely delicious food and great service. A pre fix menu that delights. Also on a quiet side street while being close to big sites. Biggest downside is it seems they only accept cash, which considering the bill will be pretty substantial for dinner is a big drawback so be warned. They should say so up front. Still would absolutely recommend for a great authentic Roman dinner!

Die Trattoria liegt etwas versteckt und bietet typisch römische Gerichte. Der Chef empfing sehr freundlich und war sehr aufmerksam. Die Gerichte des Tagesmenüs waren alle sehr schmackhaft. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut.

04/11/2025: Recommended by a local friend, and a great find! A truly authentic restaurant for Romans. Truly traditional first courses, without the "carbocreme" and other neologisms. The coda alla vaccinara sauce is fantastic, the cacio e pepe is mouth-watering, and the house wine is so heavy you can't finish it! One important note, however: don't get the fixed-price menu, as it doesn't include some items and the portions are small. Amaro is offered at the counter, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly!

09/10/2025: Just pizza, a very good Roman-style capricciosa, frozen supplì with still-cold mozzarella inside, and a beer, a Nastro Azzurro. Excellent service, good price. Comfortable atmosphere. Recommended.
07/10/2025: It was simply perfect, the food was good, the staff was friendly, and it was a piece of tradition.
