If you're looking for a genuine trattoria with well-executed traditional dishes and a decidedly light bill, Trattoria dell'Isola is an excellent choice. Overall, the experience was very good. Here's what we tried: Venison with polenta: A truly exquisite main course. The meat was tender and flavorful, accompanied by an excellent sauce that paired perfectly with the polenta, which was warm and just the right consistency. A rustic and satisfying dish. Tiramisu: Good flavor and a positive taste, although I found it a bit too dry. Personally, I would have preferred it with ladyfingers (or sponge cake) soaked in coffee to give the dessert a creamier texture. The atmosphere is typical and welcoming, typical of good trattorias of the past, where substance and tradition matter more than frills.

Fantastic! We stumbled upon this little trattoria unexpectedly while we were heading home. We stopped for a typical Piedmontese fried food lunch. We ate a lot, and I hope it was the right amount! Excellent value and quality. We'll definitely be back! ❤️
