If you're vacationing on the Trabocchi Coast and want to enjoy some traditional Abruzzo dishes, Trattoria delle Frapa, near Lanciano, is the perfect place. The restaurant is charming and quaint, and the quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. The staff and owner are truly friendly. The homemade pasta is excellent, including the spaghetti alla chitarra with meatball sauce, and all the other specialties like arrosticini and meats.

Amazing place, discovered by chance. Excellent food, highly recommended. Everything freshly cooked, and the meat perfectly cooked. Attentive and friendly staff.

Excellent experience. The restaurant is very nice, and having two children, we appreciated the high chairs and changing table in the bathroom, things that are still not a given in every restaurant. The first courses, the rintrocilo with lamb sauce and the chitarrina with meatballs, were delicious. The roast beef was also good, considering it wasn't grilled, and the vegetables that accompanied it were divine. The house wine was also good.

02/12/2025: We had dinner at Ferramenta last night and had a really good time. The place has a refined yet informal atmosphere, perfect for a quiet evening with friends. We tried a little bit of everything and left feeling extremely satisfied: perfectly cooked arrosticini, flavorful and juicy; the meat sushi was the surprise of the evening, original but absolutely spot-on in flavor; and then the cheese and egg balls, a delight—soft, tasty, and with that instantly captivating "homemade" flavor. The service was friendly and the timing was right, without rushing but also without endless waits. Overall, a dinner full of delicious things, with unique yet well-executed dishes. We'll be happy to return and recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food with a touch of creativity.
30/11/2025: My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant, which boasts a beautifully appointed ambiance and friendly, attentive staff. We started with a generous platter of various cured meats and cheeses, followed by delicate cheese and egg balls. The highlight, however, were the truly excellent Abruzzo arrosticini. We finished with a delicious, warm-hearted chocolate cake.

Sprecacè

30/09/2025: Sprecacè is nestled in a narrow alleyway in Chieti's historic center. It's a great place to spend an evening with friends, enjoying a glass of wine or sampling delicious cocktails with platters and other delicacies. Excellent.
16/09/2025: Wonderful aperitif dinner, everything perfect I would give more than five stars 🥰
