Trattoria Dell'Amicizia In Nibbiola

It would have been nice to be able to try it. In the morning they had told us that the kitchen service was until 2.00 pm and then until 1.30 pm. In the end, after an excursion, we arrived a little late at 1.30 pm, the kitchen was closed and they didn't even try to offer an alternative, not even a sandwich... wonderful desolate lands and hospitality could have made the difference.

On the road from Novara to Mortara, you can find this restaurant in the municipality of Nibbiola. A set menu lunch is sufficient, worth trying once, and then returning... no.

Inside, a very tall structure, quiet, well-maintained, and heated. Welcoming and smiling staff (which isn't a given). Friendly, no-frills service, just right for a small-town trattoria. Very generous and truly flavorful dishes. Paniscia, perhaps the best in the area. Good coffee. Fairly priced for dinner. We'll be back.

Everything was excellent. The atmosphere was informal. Family-run, making you feel at home.
