An authentic place in the heart of the historic center, just steps from the Old Port. Trust those who now frequent Genoa as if it were their second home. This place was recommended to us by Genoese friends we met in the little bars along the alleyways. We'll definitely be back, if only to complete the menu filled with traditional dishes.

Absolutely loved this place! It was my first time trying traditional trenette al pesto, and it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten — so fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service made it even better. My waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more special. I’ll definitely be back!

Typical Ligurian food, excellent raw materials and impeccable execution. The trenette svantaggiate al pesto are unmissable. Portions are right as is the price. The place has air conditioning. It was hot outside, we didn't want to weigh ourselves down so we didn't try the desserts, too bad, it will be for next time because we will definitely be back.

Innanzitutto una premessa: se avessimo seguito alcune recensioni recenti non ci saremmo andati e ci saremmo persi una cena squisita! Certe recensioni sono davvero sospette.......abbiamo cenato benissimo. Prenotato per le 21, arrivati un po' in anticipo e il tavolo era già disponibile. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto Raibetta (quattro fette di torte salate) e del prosciutto di tonno entrambi squisiti. Io ho preso le trenette al pesto (da Oscar) e mia moglie un coniglio alla genovese semplicemente fantastico! Due calici di vino rosso e un buon tiramisù come dolce. Prezzo (80 euro) onesto. Bel locale in pieno centro storico.

Reachable by ferry, on foot, or with your own boat, looking for passage from the mooring buoy to the beach, it's a destination that will fill your heart, stomach, and memory. Da Giovanni is a historic restaurant serving traditional Ligurian cuisine and the freshest seafood. I tried the shrimp spaghetti and their grilled fish and left the table feeling deeply satisfied. Excellent value for money, courteous service. The setting of San Fruttuoso is enchanting: a swim in the early morning light or at sunset is the best option, because the tourists who flock to this paradise are elsewhere. A visit to the abbey is worth it. You arrive and depart to the music of the waves. To maximize the experience, we stayed at Da Giovanni: new, comfortable rooms, equipped with a coffee machine, snacks, and water. For breakfast, you have to wait until 9:30 because croissants and fresh focaccia arrive on the first boat. Absolutely worth trying 🤩😎
