We stumbled upon this trattoria by chance because we were looking for a place to eat traditional food at a reasonable price. The menu is exquisitely traditional at fair and reasonable prices. The choice was difficult because we wanted to try everything. In the end, we chose the pesto lasagna, also known as "mandilli de sea," and the testaroli pasta with pesto. For our main course, the fritto misto and stuffed and fried anchovies. Everything was in just the right quantities, tasty and not heavy. The fried food was light and crispy without being greasy or heavy. The place is small but well-kept. I recommend booking.

Everything was very good, the service wasn't great, only 2 people served and between the first and second courses we waited 45 minutes.

The food was very delicious and traditional. The service was excellent and attentive. The dining environment was very nice. Although a bit crowded, it was very cozy.

Always the number one in tradition. Friendly service and fantastic prices! Highly recommended are the stuffed anchovies and the mandelli de seafood...pesto worth 10.

Ligurian cuisine, but average quality of the food - the ravioli I had were not the genovese ones I am used to for more than 50 years, also the ragu that came with them. The quiches (torte) we had for antipasto were good, but the rest was somehow in the medium quality level. Not something to repeat looking at the vast choice of restaurants in Genova. It took very long for the orders to arrive, maybe because they had some tables withany guests, but that should not be an excuse.It simply means that they have too many posts to serve and too few people in the kitchen and to serve the food.

Siamo nei vicoli della vecchia Genova. Abbiamo mangiato piatti della tradizione ligure e pagando un conto giusto siamo usciti soddisfatti.

Innanzitutto una premessa: se avessimo seguito alcune recensioni recenti non ci saremmo andati e ci saremmo persi una cena squisita! Certe recensioni sono davvero sospette.......abbiamo cenato benissimo. Prenotato per le 21, arrivati un po' in anticipo e il tavolo era già disponibile. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto Raibetta (quattro fette di torte salate) e del prosciutto di tonno entrambi squisiti. Io ho preso le trenette al pesto (da Oscar) e mia moglie un coniglio alla genovese semplicemente fantastico! Due calici di vino rosso e un buon tiramisù come dolce. Prezzo (80 euro) onesto. Bel locale in pieno centro storico.

07/09/2025: Excellent beers, they also change every two weeks to try new things. The appetizers (food), on the other hand, are sparse and unappetizing—a shame. The interior is very basic, the outdoor tables are nice.

05/10/2025: Sunday lunch with friends after a walk. Despite arriving late (with a reservation) and many dishes being sold out, we ate very well, a lot, and left feeling pleasantly satisfied. The mixed antipasto was unexpectedly rich and satisfying; the mandilli with pesto and pansoti with walnut sauce were delicious. The desserts were excellent and homemade. The house red wine was pleasant and appropriate for the occasion. Definitely a place to return to in the area!
22/09/2025: We went to this restaurant on Sunday for lunch. Generous portions, everything was delicious! The service was understandably slow, considering there were three full dining rooms and only two girls running around like spinning tops! Highly recommended!
