Cozy place, friendly managers and simple, quality food!

We happened upon it by chance on the way home and we had a great time, the dishes served were exquisite and the friendly and very kind owner made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Yesterday, 27 October, together with my partner and my dogs we discovered this beautiful place in the center of Chiomonte right in the main square of the municipality and next to the pharmacy...a wonderful surprise...The restaurant is divided into two floors with the bar downstairs with the classic old tavern decor which I personally love, however the restaurant room on the 1st floor has been renovated very well and appears to be a very cozy and intimate room... 7-8 wooden tables like all the rest of the very characteristic and well-kept furnishings... exceptional lunch with delicious home-made Piedmontese starters and the first courses, in this case the gnocchi, homemade... a real gem since you can't find them anywhere anymore part handmade.... and seasoned with an excellent ragù for my partner and for me with amazing herbs and butter.. we skipped the second courses and moved directly to the fabulous and very generous portion of apple pie..... the The restaurant is run by a French family whose owner carried out the table service...she was very affable, witty, helpful and with an extremely kind welcome even towards our dogs....The cuisine is a mix of typical traditional Piedmontese and French dishes: a winning combination...As for the bill....paid very little compared to other places in the area given the excellent quality of the food and service offered....... So a highly recommended place to which we will return soon. I would just like to point out that they are closing the holidays on these days and for the entire month of November as are almost all the places in Alta Valsusa and will reopen on December 5th.

A unique and out-of-series place like a wonderful car. Small family-run restaurant where everything is freshly cooked and nothing pre-cooked or industrial. Stop by if you pass through Chiomonte and Val Susa and you will feel like you have never left home, no matter how nice the welcome and good the food.
