The quality of the service always surprises me, almost like the wine list which is of the highest level.
The menu always changes and it is useless to get attached to a dish, they will take it away anyway 😂. However, the style is unmistakable and I consider Gloria one of the 10 restaurants you definitely have to go to in Milan.
And, I repeat, the service always manages to surprise me

We visited Gloria with our one year old daughter for the earliest reservation on a Saturday night, and the employees could not have been nicer or more accommodating to us. We wanted to have good food, off the tourist track in Navigli, and Gloria delivered! Delicious salad, tuna with apricots/long beans, and a mezze pasta. Great wine selection and knowledge too. I wish we went here every night in Milan!

What can I say! An unexpected discovery! A family atmosphere accompanied by high quality food! Tradition and experimentation marry wonderfully in this little corner run by young guys with the desire to do and maintain the life of a historic trattoria! I would never have left!

We got a table straight away (Thursday evening) but it was probably lucky as there are drop ins all the time. The menu is small but well made and we got good help choosing dishes as we both have some food preferences. Everything was delicious and nice atmosphere! A bit of an odd area but the restaurant is well thought out.

I am a fan of doing few things but done well and at Gloria this concept wins. High quality cuisine at a fair price, all topped off by a very well-trained staff who put passion into what they do. In Milan it is increasingly difficult to find places where the service reflects the level of the cuisine but here I have to compliment these guys. Well done

mossi da consigli sui social abbiamo prenotato in questa trattoria e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dall’entusiasmo, dalla gentilezza e dal coraggio dei giovani ragazzi che lo gestiscono e ci lavorano.
Ci hanno subito fatti sentire a nostro agio, hanno un particolare modo di chiedere lo ordinazioni, abbassandosi al livello del tavolo e spiegando nei minimi particolari piatti e vini. Poche portate ma tutte molto particolari.
Un perfetto mix tra gli ingredienti rende i piatti molto gustosi.
Non siamo di Milano e quindi non torneremo a breve ma è bello vedere queste nuove realtà.

Trattoria in zona Navigli, si distingue per l’originalità della cucina e l’utilizzo di ottime materie prime.
Se cercate la tipica trattoria milanese non è per voi, se alla milanesita’ volete abbinare un po’ di creatività è il posto giusto.
L’accoglienza è molto gradevole, ho apprezzato il saluto “ciao come stai?” di uno dei titolari anche se era la prima volta che andavo dalla Gloria.
Antipasto di caponata con mele davvero super, come pure la verza del mio amico.
A seguire polenta con erbe e carote alla bourguignonne. Si beve bene, che non guasta mai.
Prezzo onesto. Da tornare, prenotazione obbligatoria perché molto frequentata.
Bello vedere la passione e l’entusiasmo dei giovani proprietari.
