It's the second time I've come here, having wanted to give the place a second chance, but unfortunately my opinion hasn't changed.
Excellent service and environment but that's not enough! The food is forgettable plus skimpy portions even for the average in Milan.
Wine served in French bistro glasses at the same price as a standard glass. Seems like a little trick that wasn't needed...

Raramente scrivo recensioni, ma questo posto la merita proprio perché ha centrato in pieno l’obiettivo: materie prime ricercate e di altissima qualità, lavorate con fantasia e maestria, servite con simpatia e cordialità.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, nessuna fretta per lasciare il tavolo (nonostante fosse il 22 dicembre e fuori imperversasse la folla natalizia ) perciò consigliatissimo per un pranzo/cena in famiglia o con amici.
Grazie ragazzi siamo stati davvero bene, torneremo (da Genova..)!

A beautiful lunch on our first day in Italy. Passionate, interested, hospitable staff offering delicious fare at reasonable prices in a cosy and warm dining space. There was a brilliant Sunday lunch time hum and we so enjoyed being a part of it!

Cucina innovativa pur ancorata alla tradizione. Porzioni giuste, vini naturali/biodinamici spiegati bene, ma soprattutto personale gentile e preparato quasi da padroni di casa e l’atmosfera che si crea e’ di conseguenza molto bella.

Perfect dinner!
Very sociable and welcoming service from Trattoria della Gloria, a place where as soon as you enter you already perceive that it is a place where you can eat well.
Limited menu with refined and expertly prepared dishes.
Value for money, excellent!
Absolutely worth doing again.

Small potential gem, dangerously close to the cool cliché of the desire to necessarily be an anti-cool place. Let's be clear: noble and desirable intent but not at the price of French bistro glasses that are identical even for champagne (badly) and wines described (with passion) more to say than to listen. We gave it another chance but remained self-referential. Good minestrone, forgettable second courses and desserts.

I had lunch here on Sunday with some friends. The dishes are elaborate and innovative. The guys are very passionate and it shows, they accompanied us and advised us throughout the lunch. We'll be back!

I didn't know Tommaso, Luca and Rocco. Now I'm happy to have met them and had the chance to have lunch with them. For those who want quality food I absolutely recommend this restaurant. I can comment on what we ate but I don't know if you will find the same dishes when you go to Gloria, because Tommaso often changes the menu. A menu of few courses but definitely worthy. So a special mention to the ham with celeriac cream and quince compote, the risotto with mushrooms, the pâté served with raisin bread, the shin press and the tiramisu. Well done guys and see you soon.
