Excellent restaurant, I tried it on a previous trip and on my current trip, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious

The trattoria was amazing! The atmosphere and aesthetics were positively reminiscent of another era. The staff was friendly and more than helpful. We were vegetarians so they helped us a lot with our choices, all of which were delicious! I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back on my next trip to Rome!

From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma of simmering sauces drifted through the air like an invitation from history itself. This is a place where time slows down, and every dish feels like a love letter to Roman tradition. Yes…I ordered more than one pasta dish. And yes…I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Each plate was a revelation, but the carbonara deserves its own standing ovation: creamy, perfectly balanced, kissed with just the right amount of pecorino and guanciale. It wasn’t just pasta. It was symphonic. But the true, soul-shaking showstopper came in the form of their tiramisù…a performance in itself. At the table, I watched as rich, dark espresso was poured over delicate ladyfingers, followed by a cloud of fresh cream gently spread on top, and finally a snowfall of fine cacao to finish. It was the kind of dessert that makes everything else in life go quiet. Sweet, bitter, airy, decadent…unforgettable. I’ve tried to recreate it. I’ve searched for anything remotely close. But nothing comes close to what Barchetta delivered. I left that trattoria with only one desire: to return to Rome just to relive this singular, transcendent dining experience. If you’re anywhere near this place…go. Go hungry. Go ready to fall in love.

Wonderful food! We went here our first night in Rome and it was perfect. They start you with a flute of champagne which I thought was a great greeting. We ended with the table side tiramisu and the cookies with lemon cream and they were definitely a hightlight! Overall great experience and meal!

Top atmosphere, very good food. €9 for bread instead of cover charge. Typical dishes but not just the most traditional ones found everywhere around. Around €50 each for a dish and a starter with a shared dessert. Perhaps more intimate inside than outside but still a nice place

Very welcoming environment, excellent service, traditional food with some twists, accompanied by the presence of the owner who is a true hostess. When I'm in the meadows I like to have lunch or dinner with them!

Ristorante vecchio stile come piace al sottoscritto sia nell'arredo che nella cucina. Accoglienza ottima, scelto per un pranzo di lavoro è risultato all'altezza per poter parlare con tranquillità e riservatezza. Buoni piatti della tradizione con possibilità di qualche valida alternativa. Personale gentile e attento .

Top restaurant with average prices. You can't miss it if you go to Rome!! Book in advance. I absolutely recommend the cream with biscuits as a finale

It was a pleasant discovery. Dinner with colleagues, we wanted a place in the centre, we thought it was the usual tourist restaurant, but instead we found a top-quality place. Everything excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice interior. I will definitely return
