We had a pleasant time, the setting is very friendly, the pleasant staff available and very smiling, exceptional cuisine and incredible tiramisu. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Rome, it has been a long time since I have been so well received in a restaurant

Scelto da una cara amica che ne aveva sentito parlare bene, la Trattoria della Baarchetta ha soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. Il locale è davvero molto piacevole e l'atmosfera natalizia lo rendeva ancora più accogliente, il personale sempre molto professionale e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Davvero completo il menù, con tanti piatti della cucina romana, e una selezione di primi e secondi da soddisfare qualunque gusto. Ottimi anche i dolci, in particolare siamo davvero impazziti per lo zabaione che praticamente è stato scelto da uno dei commensali ma mangiato da tutti per quanto era buono. Senza dimenticare il pane fatto in casa (favoloso), e all'arrivo un piccolo assaggio di pasta fritta, e prima di andare via un croccante di mandorle ottimo per accompagnare il caffè. Simpaticissima la Sig.ra Paolina, che gestisce da anni il locale e che lo ha reso iconico, ci ha raccontato la sua storia professionale e la passione che ci mette ogni giorno. Complimenti davvero.

During a recent visit to a Roman trattoria, we were pleasantly impressed by the quality of the cuisine, with main courses costing 15-20 euros, reflecting the local culinary tradition. However, the experience was overshadowed by the exorbitant prices of the desserts and coffees. After the appetizer and main course, we ordered some homemade biscuits, attracted by their inviting appearance. Unfortunately, we hadn't noticed the price on the menu: 12 euros per person for a bowl of biscuits shared between the tables. Added to this was 3.50 euros for each coffee. In total, we spent around 60 euros on desserts and coffee alone, a disproportionate amount compared to the cost of the main courses. This pricing policy left us disappointed and saddened. We expected an authentic and honest dining experience, but the excessive additional costs compromised our overall opinion of the place. In the future, greater transparency in prices and a more consistent alignment between the cost of main courses and that of desserts and drinks would be desirable, to offer customers a more balanced and satisfying experience.

It feels like being in the living room at home. Wonderful and warm atmosphere, every year I celebrate my birthday here. I always find quality dishes, kindness of the staff, super adequate prices! Thanks, it's always a pleasure.

Think that we are still sitting at the table, what can I say, everything is wonderful, excellent food, balanced in flavors and excellently prepared, very varied and very well selected wine cellar, congratulations, you are really doing an excellent job.

All very nice but too much too much mess, they should try to soundproof the rooms a little more otherwise it's an old trattoria!

Beautiful location, beautiful background music, good food but very very noisy. Maybe we were unlucky because there was a birthday party. The waiters were all very courteous.
