Luckily, there are still trattorias like this: informal, affordable, and serving quality meat and fish. Ideal for a business lunch, as I did, but also for a dinner with friends. The baked fish is excellent, and the service is quick, with very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a try.

Excellent value for money. It opened many years ago as a restaurant for truck drivers because it's close to the A14 Pescara Ovest/Chieti toll booth and has a large free parking lot, but it's popular with everyone. It's well known that where truck drivers go, the food is good and cheap.

Great food and amazing service. If you eat here, you have to try the arrosticini! We will definitely come back.

Excellent restaurant with an unbeatable quality/quantity/price ratio! The restaurant is large, but I recommend making a reservation. Excellent restaurant about 3-5 minutes from the A14 motorway exit. Generous first courses, incredibly tender grilled tuna, and melt-in-the-mouth arrosticini. My two children loved everything! Option to choose between two set menus, meat or fish. Friendly and helpful staff... We spent €81 for 4: 1 pasta dish with tomato sauce and 1 amatriciana, 1 grilled tuna steak and side dish, 10 arrosticini, 1 portion of French fries, 1 fish menu (1 grilled spaghetti, 1 grilled tuna, 1 side dish, 1/4 bottle of house wine, 1/2 liter of water, 1 coffee), 1 liter of water, 1 coffee... The menu is available on their website... Top restaurant! Closed on Sundays, as the waiters' t-shirts say. Advised!

We arrived without a reservation at 12:30, and the place was already half full with tables reserved. They told us 20 minutes to be seated, but we didn't even have time to smoke a cigarette before our table was ready. They offer set menus at a negligible price, with incredible quality and quantity. The staff is friendly and fast. I would definitely return.

Excellent place right off the Pescara Ovest highway exit. A fixed meat menu for €15-18, including a first course, a second course with a side dish, and a choice of water and wine. Excellent for a quick, affordable, and tasty stop. Friendly and welcoming staff. The fish menu, on the other hand, is €18-22 per person, both good. We'll definitely be back.

We went to eat at Trattoria del Volante on January 10, 2026. The food was excellent, with excellent mastery of the meat. The service was excellent and the staff were super kind and helpful. The atmosphere was familiar and innovative.
