14/08/2025: We discovered Ristorante Ruatta on a beautiful summer day and couldn't have asked for anything better: a meticulously maintained location, outdoor tables on the lawn, shaded by trees, and a pleasant, relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
The menu impressed us with its variety and originality: it offers traditional Piedmontese dishes with a creative and thoughtful twist. Among the dishes that surprised us the most were the "old-fashioned" agnolotti: a surprising filling of rice, sausage, and cabbage, flavorful and enveloping. The tomato tower with layered tongue, topped with bagnetto verde and salsa rubra, was also delicious: a perfect balance of freshness and bold flavor.
The fish was also a pleasant surprise: wild salmon and red shrimp carpaccio, both excellent quality and beautifully presented.
The wine list is extensive and well-curated, with select labels and pairings recommended by the always attentive and knowledgeable staff.
The most special moment came with the birthday cake they made: a mille-feuille with custard, cream, and fresh fruit that won everyone over with its lightness, balance, and freshness. A true highlight!
Highly recommended for those looking for an elegant yet welcoming restaurant, with surprising dishes and a setting immersed in nature.
