It's a place worth coming to eat. Excellent food, super friendly and helpful staff (I've rarely found this level), superb sea view location, in front of the Galiinara islet. I don't think you need much more to feel like you're in Paradise. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Excellent cuisine and fast service with friendly and competent staff. Only flaw: too many tables in a small room, it would be more pleasant with a little more space.

Always a guarantee. Good fish cooked well in generous portions. The service is attentive both from the waiters and from the owner who exchanges a joke with everyone. The 7-course mixed starter is excellent but leaves little room for the subsequent courses.

Good, good, good. Excellent quality Fair price for what we got, I highly recommend it, then Gaetano..... Very empathetic. In short, if you are in the area you must try it if you like fish and good wine.

Pranzo in compagnia post Trail della Gallinara che partiva dalla spiaggia di Albenga. Menù ampio, personale gentile e disponibile. Essendo una decina abbiamo provato diversi piatti e sono stati molto apprezzati, buonissimo anche il gelato. Prezzo giusto.

08/08/2023: Si ritorna anche quest’anno e come sempre siamo sempre al massimo. Cucina che nel tempo non ha mai perso il gusto della tradizione. Qualsiasi sia la vostra scelta troverete sapori e qualità che raramente si trovano.
19/07/2023: Storico, c'è da una vita, costanza ,garanzia di mangiare bene, porzioni medio grandi a prezzi modici e corretti per essere vista mare in un ambiente splendido, ogni volta che vado mi trovo bene, ci vado almeno 3 volte all'anno, raramente mi è capitato di assistere a qualche errore umano comprensibile per via dei tavoli sempre pieni, ma se è sempre pieno ci sarà un motivo, SERIETÀ E CONTINUITÀ, bravi .

31/05/2025: Ristorante storico che recentemente ha cambiato gestione ed era la prima volta che cenavamo qui. Locale che si trova in centro a Rapallo a pochi passi dal lungomare. Proprietario gentile e locale pulito, oltre che rivisitato in chiave più moderna. Nota dolente il cibo che non mi ha entusiasmato, nessun piatto aveva un quid, un qualcosa di speciale che ti spinge a tornare. Abbiamo cenato con un antipasto di mare, spaghetti/linguine ai gamberi e fritto misto: tutto senza infamia e senza lode. Prezzi in linea con Rapallo.
24/05/2025: I was at Trattoria Da Mario with my girlfriend, the staff was very kind, super attentive to every detail and very friendly and smiling, always courteous, we had two very good first courses, highly recommended
