It’s a small local place. The marinated fish is a must! Unforgettable! Other dishes also top quality. Very short waiting time. We have not had any desserts but they looked fantastic. Exceptional selection of cheeses and wines. Good quality spirits. Very nice coffee. Excellent atmosphere with a great service

Historic trattoria with typical seasonal dishes. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with a cool terrace to enjoy on hot days. Excellent house wine and nice choice of wines on the list. Strong dishes: starter of homemade cured meats, game, homemade desserts.

The restaurant looks quite nice. The staff is reasonably friendly, especially the young lady who also tries her best with English. The older lady doesn't bother... The food is simple and boring... the plates aren't presented attractively at all. The food is fine, but definitely not worth the money. A one-time visit for us.

We had a wonderful evening at Del Maglio. The food was fabulous, the service was very polite and attentive, and the ambiance next to the hydrangeas was wonderful and had a great Italian flair. We come here every year and are absolutely thrilled.

Excellent food and a beautiful ambiance. We received very attentive service, were able to share the dishes without any problems, and the food was presented very attractively on two plates. Here, freshly prepared food is lovingly prepared, and guests are pampered. The chef's recommendations are trustworthy.

We've known this restaurant since our first vacation on Lake Maggiore in 2023. Fortunately, nothing has changed! The service is friendly and unobtrusive, although that could also be due to the language barrier. The food was always excellent, from the starter to the main course to the dessert. Clearly our favorite restaurant on the lake! ...a quick addendum - the €40-50 per person refers to the complete package: prima plati, secondi, dessert, wine, water, and coffee. It's also possible to get cheaper, since the prima plati is already filling. But vacation only comes once a year. 😉

The atmosphere was small and a bit stuffy. The food wasn't bad, though overpriced. Not to mention that the waitress listed the dishes for us because there wasn't a menu, which is fine, but customers should know the price of the dishes. The waitress wasn't very friendly and barely helpful.
