After a lovely circular hike in the surrounding mountains, we arrived at 2:30 PM at this unfamiliar inn, hoping to grab a bite to eat given the time. To our surprise, they greeted us with a truly impressive menu: we chose veal with tuna sauce and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, finishing with wild berry tart and chocolate cake. All dishes were excellent, the service was courteous and impeccable, and they even offered us two appetizers for our dogs. If you're passing through, it's worth a stop.

I found this place by chance, passing through the area on my motorcycle and noticing the sign for the restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise. A quiet, mountain-cabin-like place with a beautiful panoramic view, nestled in the grounds of the Madonna del Lago Sanctuary. I chose the borage ravioli and the mutton rostelle with a side dish, both excellent. The owners are very kind, and I plan to return as soon as possible. The price is appropriate for the setting.

Ferragosto with a couple of friends. Festival formula. You arrive, choose from the blackboard, pay, take a ticket and take it to the grillers who then call you with the number and give you the dish. So far so good... I gave the service 3 stars because for water, cutlery and bread you had to make 3 trips as they didn't put everything together... perhaps they were afraid that, given the portions offered, people would stock up on bread and oil to feed themselves without leaving a kidney. Because the problem was this: you can't charge 15 euros for 163 grams (I had the scales with me for healthy diet reasons) of pichana... Among other things, it was written pichana with salad and the salad was 4 leaves of rocket from the plastic tray. Then the ash potato. 5 euros for a 45 gram potato... small... very small... ditto for the corn on the cob which was not 1 but a third of a cob. Frozen bread (baguette-style), meat in a plastic tray from Lidl. They made up for it with grilled peaches with custard... but only because he stuck half a peach in my mouth and I stared at it... since that was also 5 euros, so he put a whole one in. Now everything is fine... it's mid-August... they must make money... but this is a bit shameful. The place is beautiful. But I don't recommend it and I won't be back!

On July 12, 2025, we celebrated our wedding at the Locanda, complete with a symbolic ceremony. Nicole and Alfredo were fantastic with us and our guests. They made our dream come true with love, patience, and attention to every detail. Although we live far away from them, they supported us in the organization and management, recommending excellent professionals to rely on. We couldn't have expected better. Everyone appreciated the beauty of the place, the exquisite food (from the buffet to the wedding cake), and the kindness with which we were welcomed. They even let us bring our dog (a key element for us) and other guests' dogs with no problem. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for everything! Iris & Luca

We ended up here thanks to a special childhood acquaintance ☺️ The owners of this unique place are Nicola (originally from Poland) and her Italian husband, Alfredo 😃 They dedicate their full attention and positive energy to this place. The surroundings are familiar to locals and to us tourists – if it weren't for this acquaintance, I probably would never have found it. Delicious food, a unique place, a family atmosphere, and a breathtaking landscape. Wonderful trails for mountain hikers and cyclists. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
