Very good quality products in a family-friendly, unpretentious atmosphere, except for the bill, which was more like that of a high-end restaurant. The wine was a bonus, with a quarter of the house's Grillo.

If you want to step back in time, just cross the threshold of this trattoria and the magic is done. The location is simple, clean, with a family atmosphere. The menu is unfussy, but the food is truly delicious. It felt like sitting at your aunt's house, a talented chef who delights you with traditional dishes cooked simply and cleanly. Everything was delicious: the fish balls immersed in a sauce that forces you to mop up the sauce, the fresh octopus salad, the pisci ca cipuddata, the spaghetti with clams, rigorously fresh, the balanced and tasty peppered mussels. We couldn't resist the temptation of the beautifully prepared fried calamari, golden and crispy. There's no dessert, but since you've stepped back in time, a delicious cup of lemon ice cream is perfect. What can I say? If you're looking for gourmet dishes, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for the delicious flavors of Sicilian seafood, you can't miss this place.

A family-run trattoria, simple but with good food, but it's unfortunate that there's no menu and you only notice the prices when you pay the bill. The fish is fresh, the selection is limited, the service is a bit slow,
the final price is disproportionate to the choice and the location.

Compared to the average restaurant, Trattoria del Lago is a couple of notches above average.
The atmosphere is simple, a bit dated, and not particularly refined.
The service is also efficient, focused on substance and without too many frills.
That said, since one goes to the restaurant to eat, let's see how the owners handled it.
Mixed appetizers with fish with onions, baby octopus fritters, stockfish salad, octopus, fish balls in sauce, stuffed mussels. All good.
The choice of first courses was absolutely basic... too basic.
Spaghetti with clams, mussels, or tomato sauce... too little.
Anyway, the spaghetti with clams was good.
We also tried a portion of mixed fried shrimp and calamari... good.
Finally, a mussels with pepper... good too.
Water, wine, and soft drinks.
€43 per person... in my opinion, a bit too much for a decent but limited menu, maximizing profit with minimal investment.
You pay a little more in much nicer restaurants, with better service and an extremely varied menu.
