A traditional restaurant in an old building, with many internal stairs and terrible acoustics. The service and wait suffer, making our stay longer. The boiled meat was not good (undercooked), even when served in a light broth in a striking tureen. The fresh pasta was good, with thin pastry. The fried brains and snails were unmemorable. The carpaccio with blended giardiniera: an excellent idea, very pleasant, a starter-sized portion. We didn't spend much, but it was too much for the wait and the inaccurate service.

Historic trattoria with excellent selection. We were in Rovato on an errand and chose this place online (we often do this). It's right in the center of Rovato, not easy to find, but the market parking lot is very close. The cacio e pepe "alla bresciana" is truly delicious, the casoncelli with a filling that I personally found superb, the beef in olive oil was very good but perhaps a little too salty, which "hid" the polenta a bit, which, when I tried it alone at first, was very good. The service is excellent, the staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and very kind. We loved the atmosphere: an old-fashioned house on several levels, with furnishings that remind us of our childhood. Highly recommended, thank you.

We enjoyed everything we had - the fried brains and artichoke cake were simply amazing. The staff were great, taking time to clearly explain the menu including the daily options and desserts to us in English. They also have an extremely extensive local wine list.

We stumbled upon it by chance, after a vacation, and had a wonderful time. The owner, Mr. Giuliano, is exceptional, friendly, and surprising. We can't wait to return. Sailor Moon!!

Trattoria in the center of Rovato, the heart of Franciacorta, spread across several floors. A bonus is the beef in olive oil, delicious. The only downside was the wait (35 minutes between the first and second courses), but we weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a problem.

03/03/2026: Small restaurant located in Brescia's historic center. We stopped for lunch and had a great meal. The owner is very friendly, and both the food and the burgers are top-quality! The homemade desserts are highly recommended.
23/02/2026: I liked everything - the food, the service of the lovely waitresses, the vibe, the location - but it’s a bit on the expensive side. Of course this is not a Michelin restaurant and doesn’t cost 100€ per person, but just a tiny meal & a drink cost me 25€ including service fee… The portion of the meal was surprisingly small considering the price and it being the menu of the day. Maybe I came with the wrong expectations… this is more of a place to drink than to eat.

13/02/2026: Business lunch in a refined location, excellent food, 15 euros all inclusive, it didn't feel like a business lunch, but a festive lunch.
