A Dive into the Past with Simple, Yet Exciting Cuisine! 5 stars without reservation. We went to Trattoria del Gallo on a recommendation, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is pleasantly retro and welcoming, making you feel immediately at home. The real strength is the cuisine: the dishes, while simple, are cooked to an absolutely excellent standard. It's proof that quality and craftsmanship need no embellishment. The hosts contribute to making the experience unforgettable. The owner is not only hospitable and friendly, but also demonstrates a profound knowledge of both the wine cellar—which is very well-stocked and impressive—and the specialties offered in the kitchen. We felt so good that our lunch almost lasted until dinner! A place where time stands still and you can enjoy true tradition. I highly recommend making a reservation (we were lucky, but don't risk it!). This place deserves all its success.

Generous portions and thoughtfully reinterpreted dishes: you eat well, drink Franciacorta, in a dining room that feels like home. Even on the busiest evenings, we've always found a smile and courtesy, along with attentive, punctual service. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly; dining at Gallo is always a wonderful treat. We prefer weekday evenings; reservations are recommended.

We had dinner at this restaurant during the festival. The food was excellent, and the wine list had a truly extensive selection. The service and hospitality were appreciated.

Had lunch on September 20th with 8 friends. Excellent first courses, from tortelli al Bagaoss to risotto with Franciacorta. Second courses, wild boar morsels with polenta. Beautiful location, friendly staff, everything was lovely. We'll be back. Thank you for the excellent lunch and friendliness.

We ate with a group of friends at the table in the cellar (ask if available). The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was superb. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area; we'll definitely be back.

We attended Roberta Turelli's cooking class, hosted inside the trattoria. We prepared the first course and dessert ourselves, but we ate the restaurant's beef in olive oil, and it was truly excellent; a centuries-old recipe that left us all satisfied. The dining room and location were also beautiful. The service was very kind and attentive.

Rovato è un paesino delizioso, il ristorante è in un vicolo molto bello, si respira aria di storia. Il ristorante è posto in una casa antica, ci sono diverse salette e un bel dehors. Arredamento storico, caldo e accogliente. Il cibo è principalmente locale, eseguito con un tocco di innovazione che non guasta affatto. Cantina ottima, Franciacorta in ogni dove. Servizio cortese e professionale e conto ottimo. Esperienza molto positiva.

Locale storico nel centro di Rovato che rispecchia la tradizione, tranquillo ed arredato in stile che rispecchia la tipologia di locale. Abbiamo provato il carpaccio, buono ed abbondante così come il coniglio arrosto tradizionale. In questo caso buono ma a mio parere troppo spezzettato che lo rende un po’ difficoltoso da mangiare per il rischio di trovarsi frammenti di ossicini. Proposta di dolci molto tradizionale. Prezzo forse leggermente superiore alla media.
