This is always a very safe place to take any foreign (foresti) friends to taste proper Genoese food. I loved the usual trofie al pesto and pansotti al sugo di noci, but the most impressive dish time time were the gnocchi with chestnut flour and pesto. Melting in your mouth. Plus a proper Pigato that reminds you of the sea and all the good things that come with it.

Less popular than other nearby restaurants, for reasons that are essentially unknown. We ate mandilli (lasagna for you foreigners) avvantagê (with potatoes and green beans, again for you foreigners) and chestnut gnocchi, both seasoned with a spectacular mortar pesto. Very kind staff, thank goodness the rice cake was finished, otherwise the culture shock would have been too great.

As a Genoese, I can only recommend this trattoria. At Galeone you feel at home! Fresh ingredients, fresh fish and dishes cooked with love. Everything is delicious. I think I have tried all their first and second courses, including desserts, my favorite is the bonet and it is all cooked by them. Even the house wine is happy to drink. The atmosphere is splendid and it is filled with even more magic when in the warm period you can eat outside. Truly excellent quality/price. I recommend it!

Per esserci andati 2 volte nello stesso giorno, vuol dire che ci siamo trovati bene. Ambiente piccolo ma accogliente, piatti tipici genovesi ben preparati e soddisfacenti. Trofie al pesto, acciughe all'ammiraglia e fritto misto di pesce ben fresco, tutti da raccomandare. Vino della casa decoroso, servizio attento e cortesia di contorno. Conto senza sorprese. Un locale in cui ritorneremo.

Con amici siamo stati in questo locale del centro storico genovese. Eravamo in quattro e abbiamo ordinato due primi di pasta con acciughe e pomodoro (troppo sugo), due stufati, tre dolci e caffè.
