Nice, nice place, nice staff from the waitresses to the chefs. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, a dish this good is really difficult to find. Congratulations, so much so that I went into the kitchen myself to compliment the cooks. This fantastic restaurant is located in the heart of Genoa. If you are less than 100 km it is worth going there.

I realized that I posted a review 8 years ago and I renew it by specifying:
- a stone's throw from the Cathedral
- superlative welcome, like family
- varied menu and exquisite dishes, especially the trio of first courses, the fried fish and the Piedmontese bonèt
- very fresh fish
- reserved room suitable for tables (colleagues, friends, families, etc.)
- excellent quality/price ratio
I'm not interested in eating elsewhere: you can't change a winning horse. Enjoy your meal! 😋

Questa locanda scoperta per caso camminando nei carruggi è stata una rivelazione. Trattoria molto caratteristica con un’ottima cucina casalinga e un tocco di creatività. Gentilissima la proprietaria (gestione familiare) e tutto il personale. Siamo venuti ieri sera e ci siamo tornati stasera… vedete un po’ voi !

Laat je niet foppen door de -schijnbaar- norse bediening, het saaie interieur en de droge presentatie van de gerechten op de borden. De pasta’s zijn goedkoop en onwaarschijnlijk verrukkelijk. En die weinig lachende serveerster is eigenlijk heel aardig en vriendelijk. Lekker buiten eten in de Genovese steeg!
