I returned after many years. The place is still charming and offers a beautiful view of the parish church, surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the years are starting to show, and the weight of bygone glories is palpable. As for the food, the first courses were adequate, but the second courses weren't up to par for a place like this; they didn't even ask me how well the meat was cooked. The service was a bit chaotic, and there was a certain sense of disorganization.

Excellent restaurant that rethinks Tuscan cuisine in a more contemporary way. Excellent flavors, perfect also with children.

To get to the restaurant, you have to drive along a dirt road with several potholes and no lighting.
The restaurant is decent; it didn't make me say "I want to go back." The portions are a bit small, and the truffle on the pici was subpar; the rib eye steak was better.
The cover charge is justified by the appetizers they bring while you wait to choose your order.
The exterior is very nice, but quite unlivable due to the mosquitoes and the uncivilized people smoking.

Finally, a place that's genuine! Here, they greet you with a welcome dish that feels like an appetizer: the famous chicken liver crostini, accompanied by many other delicacies. The menu exudes Tuscan authenticity, and the service is friendly and welcoming, just like they used to be.
The desserts are top-notch, too!

We shared some pasta as starters, they have some really good dishes, we had rabbit, guineafowl and goose parpadeli, they were all really good.
For mains pictured is duck and fennel and steak, both were good.

We were enchanted, it couldn't have been better. The kindness, the atmosphere and the food were all perfect. I will remember my birthday with happiness.

Well, it was not what I expected, let's say I ate "normal", moreover my meat was burnt, very hard, inedible. The place is very beautiful surrounded by flowers.
