I want to hug the chef. Can I? I won't comment on the food because it would be superfluous and wouldn't do it justice. Praise for the menu and the wines. The homely atmosphere is beautiful and romantic. Outside, I found a peaceful place where I could reconnect with nature. This is the kind of situation where I would travel 250km again just to relive these emotions.

UtenteSpietato had an excellent experience overall. UtenteSpietato found the place very welcoming and well-kept, although it's not the easiest to get to (you have to drive down a dirt road, but just follow the directions on Google Maps). The staff is friendly and helpful, and they immediately brought out a delicious appetizer to make your own bruschetta. 3 out of 4 were vegetarian. UtenteSpietato thoroughly enjoyed it. Given UtenteSpietato's passion for truffles, the base of every dish was this: fried egg with pecorino cream and truffle (appetizer, photo attached), pici cacio e pepe with truffle, and tagliatelle with butter and truffle. All these dishes were delicious, the portions were just right, the truffles were plentiful, and the prices were reasonable. The tripe was also more than decent, and the homemade desserts were well-made. For two people, UtenteSpietato paid €98, including water, beer, dessert, coffee, and dessert wines. CONCLUSIONS: utenteSpietato highly recommends this trattoria to anyone looking for excellent local cuisine at an affordable price.

I returned after many years. The place is still charming and offers a beautiful view of the parish church, surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the years are starting to show, and the weight of bygone glories is palpable. As for the food, the first courses were adequate, but the second courses weren't up to par for a place like this; they didn't even ask me how well the meat was cooked. The service was a bit chaotic, and there was a certain sense of disorganization.

Excellent restaurant that rethinks Tuscan cuisine in a more contemporary way. Excellent flavors, perfect also with children.

To get to the restaurant, you have to drive along a dirt road with several potholes and no lighting. The restaurant is decent; it didn't make me say "I want to go back." The portions are a bit small, and the truffle on the pici was subpar; the rib eye steak was better. The cover charge is justified by the appetizers they bring while you wait to choose your order. The exterior is very nice, but quite unlivable due to the mosquitoes and the uncivilized people smoking.

Finally, a place that's genuine! Here, they greet you with a welcome dish that feels like an appetizer: the famous chicken liver crostini, accompanied by many other delicacies. The menu exudes Tuscan authenticity, and the service is friendly and welcoming, just like they used to be. The desserts are top-notch, too!
