Tourist place. The menu is enriched with dishes of the day. Fast and very courteous service. Portions average and quite tasty. All in all good value for money.

Characteristic place because, as the name suggests, it is partially dug into the rock. The basic menu is enriched with dishes of the day, the prices of which are also provided by the restaurateur. Fast, courteous and helpful service, in fact even though the place was full we were served quickly. Tasty dishes with average portions. Medium-high prices

Comimos aquí para el almuerzo del domingo rodeado de familias italianas. Creo que solo éramos turistas en Trattoria. El ambiente y el servicio eran perfectos. Definitivamente necesita hacer una reserva, ya que son muy populares y ocupados. El entrante de frijol fava era fabuloso. Me encantó la pasta con ragu. El sorbete se sirvió en el limón y fue el final perfecto para un delicioso almuerzo.

Everything is amazing! Also gluten-free pasta and bread. Excellent service. The only suggestion is that they could avoid letting street vendors in, as they are too intrusive.

05/12/2024: Refined restaurant that puts you at ease. Cuisine with typical products but revisited without exasperation. Aside from the welcome (which you don't eat but often gives you a sense of the place and it goes without saying that it is very respectable), the dishes are tasty, satisfy the palate and leave you with the desire to return.

08/08/2024: Randomly chosen during a walk in Matera, this place is truly excellent. The dishes are well-studied, experimental, but with real flavours. The risotto "rice, potatoes and mussels" is excellent and the desserts are superb. Friendly, helpful staff. Score 10 and praise
06/08/2024: A magnificent experience rather than a dinner, a perfect mix of friendliness and finally top quality dishes in Matera, with historical reinterpretations of Matera cuisine but in a modern key. Prices are more than fair and a truly enviable wine list!
