Given the reviews we booked, very good mixed starter, tender cod but without flavour to improve, as well as the dry pork rolls, very kind staff.

We recently went to this place, but unfortunately we were not satisfied starting from the bathroom that was in terrible conditions already at 9 pm. The staff was rude and the dishes were poor in content. Beautiful location, but never again in the place!

We had lunch at Trattoria del Caveoso and had a great time. The food was tasty and well prepared, with simple dishes but full of flavor, perfect for those looking for traditional and genuine cuisine. The staff was really kind and attentive, helping to make the experience even more pleasant. A gesture that we particularly appreciated was the offer of water for our dog, a sign of great courtesy and attention. A welcoming and quiet place, ideal for a lunch break. Recommended!

Locale molto carino ed accogliente. Con la mia famiglia ho mangiato sul soppalco del ristorante. Abbiamo mangiato solo secondi piatti (tagliata mista, grigliata mista di carne, tagliata del Caveoso (con funghi cardoncelli), due contorni (patate al forno e cicoria in agro), due dessert artigianali (gelato al limone e coppa crema chantilly/granella di biscotto/cioccolato fondente/frutti di bosco). Abbiamo speso 89,00€, prezzo più che accettabile. Consigliato.

Ci rechiamo in questa meravigliosa trattoria su indicazione del nostro hotel in cui alloggiavamo location stupenda veniamo accolti dai proprietari Nicola e Angela con simpatia e affetto poi seguiti da Beatrice con la sua ironia e professionalità cucina tipica locale da ritornare sarà un nostro punto di riferimento per il futuro bravi a tutti.

02/06/2025: Typical restaurant in the heart of Pisticci. Welcoming atmosphere, generous portions, good quality. We ordered appetizer, first course, second course and dessert and rediscovered the flavors of typical home cooking. The waiter who served us was very kind. They were very patient with us, allowing us to stay a little longer than closing time without rushing us, allowing us to enjoy each course. If we were to find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely come back to them! Highly recommended!
25/05/2025: Clean and welcoming place. Professional, kind and attentive staff to the needs of the customer. Delicious food with a wide choice. Normal prices. Congratulations to everyone.

24/02/2025: Il Calanco è una struttura di tipo familiare, rustica e accogliente che da tempo rappresenta un’eccellenza nel territorio pisticcese. Si contraddistingue per la genuinità del personale che ci lavoro, attento ad accogliere ogni tua richiesta, per la bontà dei piatti serviti, la maggior parte a km zero e per i sapori intensi e veraci tipico della tradizione lucana. Se volete vivere un’esperienza di vitto e alloggio lontana da stress e da inutili sofisticazioni questo è il posto che fa per voi. Insomma al Calanco si mangia bene e si dorme meglio. Bravo Giuseppe, bravi tutti!!!!!
