What can I say, this place is something special!!! Everything was excellent, not to mention the waiters, very kind and super fast!!! Today is Friday and it was very crowded, we ate almost immediately... I will be back 1000 more times. Congratulations on everything!

We had a bit of difficulty finding it as we are not from Catania but I can tell you that the food is divine, everything is excellent, delicious from the starters to the first courses to the desserts.

1. Limited menus in Nov, no black pasta, no risotto 2. Careful when you order. They offered a midium well steak while i ordered a medium rare one, and it took a 15min discussion to replace. 3. Crab pasta and horse meatballs are good.

We had a very good and typical Sicilian meal at Trattoria al Cavalier. Two courses left us satisfied, and we paid less than €50 for two people – the value for money is truly excellent. The restaurant is centrally located and ideal for a relaxed meal in Catania. The house wine was a little warm, but this hardly detracted from the overall very positive impression. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic cuisine at fair prices.
