Trattoria del Cavaliere In Catania

Had lunch on a Sunday in January with friends, so evidently the place was quite full both in the external room and in the internal ones spread over 2 floors. We ate both homemade appetizers and first courses and a grilled meat consisting of various choices. The idea of ​​being able to choose what you want from the various proposals and compose your dish in total freedom is excellent, for example I took a horse meat ball, a meat and pistachio ball and a sausage knot. Nothing exceptional about the first courses, let's say that the attention paid to the dishes is not of interest in this place, but the meat is really good, generous portions and above all really low costs compared to the average of the place, just think that there is a mixed grill nearby that you can't find to compose is around 22 euros while here in the best case scenario, choosing what you want to eat does not exceed 10 euros. For the rest it is really a trattoria, service that gets lost in the confusion, unrelated courses in the service, water and house wine to drink... this is also what creates the atmosphere.

I think the seafood is fresh, but I ordered a pasta dish, the taste is not my favorite (fish) , but still delicious!

We went to your place with friends of ours and we had a great time, the staff were friendly and approachable. We had both the pasta, which was plentiful but very good, and a second course of meat, but everything was good. The price is right... I recommend it to everyone!! Excellent venue!!

Me l'hanno consigliato ma un po' sotto le aspettative. Ho preso una pasta all'arrabbiata ma è stato come prendere una semplice pasta col pomodoro, nulla di eccezionale. Consiglio ai camerieri un sorriso in più per far sentire i clienti più accolti. Il conto unica nota positiva dato i prezzi molto economici e porzioni abbondanti.

Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo e la gentilezza del personale di sala…..i piatti tipici sono all’altezza dei Commensali….
