Amazing food. Best meal we’ve had in Italy. worth the drive … the owner and the waiters could not have been nicer. The house red wine is fantastic. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s at the base of the castle … worth the short walk from parking on the street. It’s tucked away on a cobblestone Street. If you go make sure you go to the Trattoria Del Castillo, not the other restaurants named Del Castillo. We came from Charlotte, North Carolina and loved this restaurant.

We had a good time and ate good things right under the Odescalchi Castle, outside the restaurant in an equipped space similar to a closed gazebo. Inside the space is small but well furnished, certainly nicer. There are several interesting dishes on the menu that I intend to try in the future. Fast service, pleasantly polite waiters who are well disposed towards customers. Definitely recommended for anyone taking a trip to Bracciano

We’ve been to this restaurant twice during our visits to Bracciano, and each time has been absolutely fantastic. The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming, and the service is impressively fast without ever feeling rushed. The food is simply delicious — every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. We came with our kids both times, and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. There is nothing better than stopping to eat in this little restaurant after a Sunday trip to visit the Castle. The service is fast, the staff are friendly and the starters are excellent.

Sono andato in questa trattoria il primo maggio e come da titolo della recensione sono rimasto soddisfatto ma...
Posto accogliente,camerieri gentili e sorridenti,cibo buono,ho apprezzato molto la carbonara con tartufo e guanciale croccante,lo chardonnay proposto in mancanza del vermentino scelto molto buono,prezzi onesti.
Unica pecca aver servito i pici con le vongole piene di sabbia,cosa che non dovrebbe succedere poiché ci vorrebbe più attenzione dalla cucina prima di fare uscire i piatti.
Comunque professionale il proprietario per aver stornato dal conto i due primi dopo aver saputo l'accaduto.
Lo consiglio 👍
Tornerò sicuramente.

I recently went to this restaurant, attracted by the good reviews and the welcoming environment. The service was friendly and the dishes in general turned out to be average, right portions, but nothing that really stood out.
The real disappointment however came with the carbonara. I was expecting a classic, creamy and tasty dish, but instead I found myself faced with a dish where pecorino reigned supreme, an overall flavor that didn't do justice to the Roman tradition.

very nice location and excellent food. all the starters, first courses and second courses were delicious, except the tiramisu and the meatballs. I would happily go back especially for the carbonara with truffle and the veal loin.
