TRATTORIA DEL CASTELLO In Bracciano

Monday evening before returning from holiday in Rome. The place is in the center of Bracciano near the castle. There were 4 of us At the table we took: Starter: seafood kebab x2 First: 1x cheese and pepper pasta with prawn tartare 2x ravioli filled with scampi with scampi cream and scampi 1x clam dumpling. Second: 2x perch fillet. 1x baked lamb with baked potatoes. 2 waters and 75 cl of house white wine. I count around 130 euros. Very good food for what we ate, impeccable service and kind and friendly staff, the set of plates and glasses is plentiful with glasses and glasses branded with the name of the place. I give 4 stars to the environment for a purely subjective and personal taste... the music was a bit too loud but definitely bearable. Overall rating in tenths: 10 Well done

Restaurant a stone's throw from the castle, clean place and elegant, efficient service. We had a very good mixed land appetizer, which in addition to the usual cured meats and cheeses also contained beans, a potato flan, olives... very good. For first courses we had a gricia with artichokes and gnocchi with clams and they were both very good, the portions very generous. The desserts are also excellent. Absolutely honest prices. Especially on weekends and holidays it is always better to book

Abbiamo mangiato in questa trattoria per il pranzo di capodanno, credevamo ci fosse menù fisso come fanno la maggior parte dei ristoranti ma fortunatamente non è stato così abbiamo avuto la possibilità di scegliere dal menù. Eravamo in 6 abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto misto (non salumi e formaggi), poi abbiamo preso 3 primi diversi di cui i pici alla carbonara (molto buoni e molto sostanziosi), le pappardelle al sugo di cinghiale e i ravioli con tartufo ripieni di crema ai funghi porcini (eccezionali). Poi abbiamo aggiunto la carne per finire con i dolci. Il personale è stato gentilissimo compreso il titolare che pur avendo chiamato tardi ci ha comunque riservato un tavolo per la prenotazione. Qualità prezzo veramente ottimo. Consiglio a tutti di andarci, noi torneremo sicuramente ☺️

Because of the fantastic location in front of the castle I was worried it would be a tourist trap. But I was wrong. The food is incredible and the owner speaks English which was nice. I highly recommend this restaurant for great food at very reasonable prices!

Excellent experience! We went with 10 adults with 5 children, two babies and a dog. Staff that to say ultra-friendly is an understatement. Truly understanding of the children's needs, they gave us excellent advice on orders which were fulfilled promptly. The food was really excellent and the portions were generous. Top rating
