Had a lovely trip here after a friend recommended the restaurant - we’re so grateful she did! Good, authentic cooking, delicious house wine, in a family atmosphere, with beautiful views over Lake Como and surrounds. A wonderful place to watch the sun go down, and they were kind enough to let us have our drinks before dinner out on the terrace to enjoy the view even though they weren’t doing food service outside that evening due to weather conditions. Reasonably priced too, with excellent gluten free options on the secondi menu!

This is absolutely the standout restaurant in the area. Take the funicular from the centre of como to brunate, and within a short scenic walk, you can get amazing food, really friendly service, at a great price, and stunning views. Don’t get caught by the tourist traps, make a tiny bit of effort to find a proper spot for great home cooked food

Everything was delicious: from the cured meats and cheeses to the exquisite appetizers, to the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, truly delicious and perfectly prepared. Finally, a very important detail: I found the coffee to be excellent, which for a Neapolitan in the north is not easy to find.
The location was fabulous, with a garden and a terrace overlooking Lake Como with a breathtaking view. Spectacular! Kudos to the guys and all the staff for their kindness and hospitality. Top!

We came in June 2025 for an important birthday party. We didn't book any restaurants in advance, and this important dinner was at great risk. By pure chance, we found Trattoria del Cacciatore, and it was the best dinner possible. A dream evening! Breathtaking view, perfect service, very friendly reception, delicious food and wine, intimate atmosphere. A dream dinner! A big thank you for welcoming us so well. Unforgettable!
