12/08/2025: It's very difficult to be amazed on Lake Como. After years spent searching for authenticity and tradition, I was losing hope amidst restaurants offering frozen pinsas, ready-made meals, and superficial catering. I stumbled upon Domenico and Alessia, explorers and pioneers of high-end dining in Valbrona, an area renowned for its game specialties and mountain culture. Here, thanks to Domenico's passion for quality cuisine, under the watchful eye of Alessia, he offers Mediterranean cuisine featuring seafood and local products, a fertile ground for a new beginning. The tireless Laura, the chef's mother, personally oversees every table, ensuring every dish is a success, blending the future with tradition with a smile that will spread.
Today, a game-themed dinner event... porcini mushroom risotto, pappardelle with wild boar, wild boar shank, and sirloin steak. Three different cooking methods, three different experiences. Let yourself be tempted by Domenico's skill.

11/08/2025: La Mandragola in Valbrona is a true gem. Alessia and Domenico, the owners, are spectacular: welcoming, genuine, and with an infectious passion for what they do. The food is supremely high quality, and every dish exudes freshness and attention to detail. The fish is simply exceptional: as fresh as if fresh from the sea, a quality that is difficult, if not impossible, to find in the area. From appetizer to dessert, every course is a masterpiece. Congratulations, you are absolute masters! We will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, top-notch gastronomic experience.
