The food is good, it's a shame about the invasion of crickets which made the dinner unlivable.

We already knew this place. The food is traditional and always good.
There are two unfortunate things:
I specifically booked outside, but when I arrived, the reservation wasn't there and the table wasn't available. After a moment of hesitation, they resolved the situation by seating us outside, as requested.
The atmosphere is beautiful, traditional, and surrounded by nature; I've always liked it.
Only one thing: I'll start by saying I don't know how to fix it. There are just too many insects... crickets constantly ending up in our glasses, huge hornets that even slammed into us.

The batter on the frogs was almost burnt, ruining the taste of the bite. I was disappointed, considering the price. A little care should have been taken when frying them.

I visited this restaurant at the recommendation of a local friend. I must say it was a truly positive experience; their Culatello and Donkey Stew are truly superb. The bill was also reasonable for what we ate. If I return to the area, Trattoria del Cacciatore will be a must-visit.

Adored this place. Definitely a gem hidden in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for a little culinary surprise on your roadtrip. Fresh homemade pasta, prosciutto di Parma, great house wine selection and deserts.
