Overall good food, decent quality and service. I strongly recommend to try the "zuppa di cozze", mussels were delicious and the sauce deserved to be cleaned up with the bread; go "scarpetta"! First dishes are tasty and portions are generous: "pasta alla norma" and "tagliatelle con pistacchio e gamberi" are worth! Finally we had "polpo e calamari alla Luciana", that wasn't of my taste, but I was also almost full so I may be biased, anyway the taste of onions was too strong and did cover the seafood! We did try the house white wine, it wasn't bad but I could sense that it was a bit water-ish; last thing is that we had to wait almost 1h before getting the starter, but after that first and second dishes came one after the other! I would recommend the place is you are not in a hurry and you're very hungry and looking for good traditional Sicilian food :)

We were there for New Year's Eve dinner. The food: amazing, exquisite dishes, large portions. A wonderful Italian atmosphere. I would happily repeat the experience.

I went with a package deal. The risotto and grilled squid were really delicious. It was the most authentic Western food I've had in Sicily. It wasn't salty, and everything was delicious. The white wine was also delicious.

In Syracuse in Ortigia there are two restaurants that have this name (Trattoria del buon gustaio) but the owner is always the same and here too, like the other place, the food is very good but unlike the other one, no pizza... Customer attention and well-prepared dishes...

05/06/2025: Lo digo... ¡la mejor experiencia de restaurante en Noto! Difícil conseguir una reserva, pero lo conseguimos. Los vinos son excelentes El servicio al cliente es perfecto El menú es versátil y no más asequible de lo que se podría pensar. Ambiente es precioso (nos sentamos dentro) Teníamos - Ensalada de naranja, oliva, hinojo - Fava y sopa de garbanzos con ricota y pan rallado Ricotta frita - raviolis y salchicha de cerdo -albóndigas También trajeron un aperitivo que prepararon. Todo era sabroso, complejo, bien dividido... sin notas. Mi favorita fue la Sopa de Fava y Garbanzos. Ojalá viniera aquí dos noches seguidas en lugar de ir a NACHE (que odiaba) porque había muchas cosas que quería pedir. Recomiendo encarecidamente. Tengo dos noches más de mis vacaciones, pero creo que esta puede ser mi experiencia culinaria favorita en toda Sicilia.
