In Syracuse in Ortigia there are two restaurants that have this name (Trattoria del buon gustaio) but the owner is always the same and here too, like the other place, the food is very good but unlike the other one, no pizza... Customer attention and well-prepared dishes...

If you want to "taste" Sicily in Syracuse, I recommend this simple trattoria. How simple and authentic their dishes are, carefully prepared and served by very talented and courteous young people! We were there two nights in a row and tried the spaghetti alla siracusana, fusilli alla Norma, and walnut ravioli!!!! What can I say...it was wonderful!!!!

Not the best food I had in Sicily and definitely not the worst. Really big portions! It was visible that the owner was training the staff and they were not the brightest of students

Siamo a Ortigia,in un vicolo un po' defilato del borgo,pranziamo dentro con aria condizionata,fuori e troppo caldo,il menù e molto invitante,tanti piatti siciliani e di pesce,ma avendo una cena a seguire prendiamo solo un piatto,il mio antipasto caldo molto buono con vari assaggi di pesce e le tipiche sarde al beccafico,mia moglie una caponata di tonno eccezionale,prezzi corretti e caffè ad un euro,consigliato

Maravillosa comida. Uno de los mejores restaurantes de Siracusa. Lo mejor el trato amable de los camareros. Hubo un problema con el pago y nos lo resolvieron sin problema. Un restaurante de fiar.

01/11/2025: This is a charming, comfortable, and very well-located hotel. The welcome is warm. All the staff are kind and attentive. You can speak French with some of the reception staff. The breakfast is varied and very good, featuring fresh, local products. Don't hesitate to book; it's one of the best places to stay in Syracuse.
31/10/2025: One of the coziest hotels I've ever stayed in. The location is perfect, the two rooms our family had were incredibly charming and above all the staff is incredibly helpful. Thanks for all the tips and bookings. We'll be back!

06/09/2025: Excellent experience, truly high-quality food, fresh fish, and carefully crafted dishes. The attentive service made all the difference; the helpful, friendly, yet professional staff made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Portopalo di Capo Passero.
27/08/2025: This restaurant deserves a Michelin star: the ambiance, the service, the attention to detail, the food is ALL fresh and carefully prepared, perfectly cooked. The wine list is excellent, all Sicilian. Desserts? A delight for the palate. The young man who served us from start to finish was kind, attentive, and attentive. If I lived in Sicily, it would be a regular stop. I'll definitely be back!
