This family-run trattoria is located between Pisa Central Station and Pisa San Rossore, managed by a kind, attentive, and helpful gentleman with over 30 years of experience. The location is charming and typically Tuscan, and prices range from €10 and up per dish, with a variety of options including desserts, appetizers, meat and seafood first courses, and main courses. We chose the €20 fixed menu, which includes a first course of pasta with tomato sauce, a choice of meat second course, a side of fries or salad, water, and coffee. And a €25 fixed menu, which includes a first course of pasta (either seafood or meat), a choice of main course, a choice of fries or salad, dessert, water, and coffee. The portions are generous; we personally found the spaghetti with clams and the roast potatoes delicious and not at all greasy. The wait times for each dish are short, and bread is served while you wait. We had a great time, and we recommend stopping by if you're in Pisa! It is also very quiet and less touristy than other trattorias and restaurants on the main streets.
