Trattoria dei Mercanti, usually trattorias are characterized by a rustic atmosphere, here instead we find ourselves in front of a very elegant place with soft lights, simple and homely cuisine, and fair prices compared to the quality of the dishes offered. The term "trattoria" can also be used by restaurants that want to emphasize their characteristic of traditional or local cuisine. For this reason the name is perfect, the dishes are refined and of excellent quality. Compliments also to the very accurate service.

Traditional trattoria that mainly offers Piedmontese cuisine; well-kept place from cleanliness to furnishings. Sunny and kind staff. Excellent food, we divinely appreciated the agnolotti and the guinea fowl even if many dishes on the menu inspired us. We will want to return!

Very intimate and convivial place, which I personally recommend more to couples for the special atmosphere. The menu offers suggestive dishes and very distinct from other restaurants in the area, with excellent raw materials. The icing on the cake: extremely welcoming and helpful staff.

“La nostra Carbonara” is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten anywhere. Brilliant!

Excellent, from every point of view.

At the waiter's recommendation, we had a mushroom risotto and a small salad to start with. The risotto was just right. We enjoyed it very much. The menu offers something exquisite for every taste.

Ottima cucina principalmente piemontese, servizio al tavolo davvero cortese e curato. Abbiamo mangiato 2 antipasti, 1 primo, 1 secondo e 1 dolce e tutti i piatti erano ben bilanciati e saporiti. Ottime opzioni anche per vegetariani.

Categoria: Ristorante Italiano Trovato per: Passaparola Esternamente dall’aspetto assolutamente anonimo, e situato in un’altrettanto anonima stradina di Borgomanero, all’interno invece è estremamente curato, elegante e accogliente. Abbiamo cenato al piano di sopra, in una bellissima saletta dall’atmosfera calda con travi a vista e un camino. Come entrée ci hanno servito una crema di zucca eccezionale che, se fosse stato possibile, avrei riordinato. Ottimi anche gli agnolotti al sugo di arrosto, un po’ meno entusiasmante la zuppa di cipolle che era un po’ liquida. Cotta bene e di buona qualità la costata di Angus alla brace, morbidissimo e saporito il guanciale di vitello brasato al nebbiolo. Ottima carta dei vini, con tantissime proposte di qualità e ricarichi molto onesti, cosa che si riverbera anche sul conto e sul buon rapporto qualità / prezzo. Anche il servizio è professionale e cordiale. Posto consigliatissimo non solo se si è da queste parti, vale anche una trasferta.
