We went there about ten days ago, it was late in the evening and we hadn't booked but they still gave us a table; the restaurant is truly wonderful, ancient and rustic (the way I like it), its prices are slightly above average, but having received several awards, they seem to me to be very honest figures. Plus, they have fresh homemade pasta, and they even give you a welcome taste. Top dinner, I'll be back

Typical restaurant in the districts of Borgomanero, a stone's throw from the centre. Typical traditional menu with excellent ideas from the neighboring lands, all served with care and attention to detail. Excellent wine list.

Anyone who doesn't give 5 stars is in bad faith.

Truly excellent restaurant! The food is delicious, with dishes that respect local tradition, some of which are expertly revisited without distorting their essence. Quality ingredients, generous portions and great care in preparation. The staff is friendly, welcoming and always available. Attentive and fast service. An authentic place where you eat really well. Super recommended!

Abbiamo cenato al piano di sopra, in una bellissima saletta dall’atmosfera calda con travi a vista e un camino. Come entrée ci hanno servito una crema di zucca eccezionale che, se fosse stato possibile, avrei riordinato. Ottimi anche gli agnolotti al sugo di arrosto, un po’ meno entusiasmante la zuppa di cipolle che era un po’ liquida. Cotta bene e di buona qualità la costata di Angus alla brace, morbidissimo e saporito il guanciale di vitello brasato al nebbiolo. Ottima carta dei vini, con tantissime proposte di qualità e ricarichi molto onesti, cosa che si riverbera anche sul conto e sul buon rapporto qualità / prezzo. Anche il servizio è professionale e cordiale. Posto consigliatissimo non solo se si è da queste parti, vale anche una trasferta.

Nice characteristic place that overlooks a side street, a few steps from the center of Borgomanero. Menu with a wide choice, the same goes for the wine list. Not being from the area, my father and I decided to order some typical local dishes: guinea fowl paté with cockerel salad (appetizer), “Paniscia” risotto (min. for 2 people, first course) and the house Tapulone (second course). We were satisfied with the choices, in particular my father appreciated the risotto while I appreciated the donkey meat (tapulone). Excellent quality/price ratio, also considering the portions. Super kind and welcoming staff. Absolutely recommended!

Staff that stands out for their warm welcome, elegant, kind and professional. Tasty food, well presented and of excellent quality. Generous portions. They served us an entrée of bean soup together with some truly fabulous salted butter to spread on the bread. Homemade tapulone served with polenta and potatoes is very tasty, as is the Paniscia. Very tender grilled octopus. Delicious desserts, the bonèt was the best I've ever eaten. Found with Osteria d'Italia which never disappoints. What can I say... I highly recommend it

Non si può che parlar bene di questo ristorante dove il termine “eccellente” può adattarsi all’eleganza dell’ambiente, all’accuratezza del servizio, alla qualità delle proposte del menu, al rapporto prezzo qualità. Davvero un locale dove tornare quanto prima possibile il pensiero di chi vi esce sì dopo aver trascorso una cena!
