We stopped in for lunch today, somewhat by chance. It seemed like a touristy place, given its central location. However, the first courses were carefully prepared and of good quality. We were more than satisfied. The only downside is perhaps the slightly high cover charge, given what's on offer, but considering it's right in the center of Assisi, it's more than acceptable.

We ordered their typical pasta, the carbonara and the truffle pasta, which were very good. Served in the same little pans they're prepared in! Really cool! For our Brazilian palates, we ordered grated cheese, of course top-quality Parmesan! The spectacular olive oil with a touch of salt made everything perfect! A typical Brazilian touch…

Centrally located in Assisi. We had a starter of pumpkin soup and strangotti, and a main course of cheek stew. Two glasses of Sagrantino and a glass of Vino Santo with two portions of biscuits. Everything was good. The only downside was the plastic bottled water, which was a bit of a tacky painter. The waiter was friendly, but the bill was a bit high for what we ate. In my opinion, they should eliminate plastic bottles and install a water purifier.

12/02/2026: An excellent restaurant with superb Umbrian specialties. Friendly and competent service.
27/01/2026: Overall, the experience was good: a welcoming place, friendly service, and well-prepared dishes. However, there was one aspect that left me very perplexed. The menu listed the rosemary tagliata at €22, but on the final bill it was charged €25. This is unfair, especially since we had booked through TheFork with a 20% discount. Such an unexplained price difference gives the impression of an attempt to take advantage of the situation, ruining an otherwise positive experience. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to price transparency in the future.

08/02/2026: Everything was delicious, especially the amarena pasticciotto and the wine donuts.
05/01/2026: Informal tavern, good quality food, good service, well-kept atmosphere. The only flaw was the slightly cool dining room, even though the place had just opened when we arrived. The Gubbio distillate recommended by the host after coffee was excellent. Recommended for a good lunch at a good price.
