The place, which I have known for many years, continues to keep its promises with an excellent quality-price formula. Some reviews that you read here are frankly lunar, especially the observations on the price which is not only normal, but quite unusual for the location and the characteristics of the place.

Typical Piedmontese restaurant in the center of Turin behind the Gran Madre. Typical location of the type of restaurant that suits the genre. Try eating in the outdoor garden in good weather. Friendly staff. A la carte food which we enjoyed. Possibility of wine both in bulk and in bottles. Price, 2 mixed starters, 2 first courses, water, loose wine and bitters around €40 each

Apart from bread and breadsticks and the classic past ambience, really good food. Veal with tuna sauce with garnish, veined lard on crispy croutons, excellent panna cotta and trifle. Too bad the manager: unpleasant and sour like yogurt Vipiteno: change jobs to find yourself dispassionate advice

Excellent environment for dining outside, kind people, good quality Piedmontese cuisine, choice of wines with very honest mark-ups. I returned in winter and even the internal rooms are welcoming. It seems to me that the cuisine has improved further.

Locale rustico ma piacevole. Piatti della tradizione Piemonte dai sapori autentici. Ottimi agnolotti e Risotto al Castel Magno. Panissa saporita e vitello tonnato con una bella salsa all’antica. Veloce il servizio

09/03/2025: If you are looking for an authentic experience between good food and a welcoming atmosphere, the Locanda Vecchio Novecento in Grosso Canavese is an excellent choice. Located in a carefully renovated 1893 farmhouse, this inn combines rustic charm with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients. The cuisine is based on local and seasonal products, with dishes that respect the Piedmontese tradition but with a touch of creativity. The tasting menu is an excellent option to savor more specialties, including the fassone steak cooked with a knife, the tajarin with vaccinara, the beef cheek braised in Barbera and the classic Piedmontese fried dish. The selection of cheeses and desserts also deserves a special mention. The environment is warm and welcoming, with attentive and courteous service, although at busy times it can be a little slow. 30/11/2024: Locale stupendo, personale gentilissimo e preparato e soprattutto una esperienza culinaria interessante. Piatti preparati con cura e con grande capacità. Molto interessante il fuori menù a base di tartufo. Prezzi coerenti con il servizio e la qualità
