The place, which I have known for many years, continues to keep its promises with an excellent quality-price formula. Some reviews that you read here are frankly lunar, especially the observations on the price which is not only normal, but quite unusual for the location and the characteristics of the place.

Typical Piedmontese restaurant in the center of Turin behind the Gran Madre. Typical location of the type of restaurant that suits the genre. Try eating in the outdoor garden in good weather. Friendly staff. A la carte food which we enjoyed. Possibility of wine both in bulk and in bottles. Price, 2 mixed starters, 2 first courses, water, loose wine and bitters around €40 each

Apart from bread and breadsticks and the classic past ambience, really good food. Veal with tuna sauce with garnish, veined lard on crispy croutons, excellent panna cotta and trifle. Too bad the manager: unpleasant and sour like yogurt Vipiteno: change jobs to find yourself dispassionate advice

Excellent environment for dining outside, kind people, good quality Piedmontese cuisine, choice of wines with very honest mark-ups. I returned in winter and even the internal rooms are welcoming. It seems to me that the cuisine has improved further.

Locale rustico ma piacevole. Piatti della tradizione Piemonte dai sapori autentici. Ottimi agnolotti e Risotto al Castel Magno. Panissa saporita e vitello tonnato con una bella salsa all’antica. Veloce il servizio

28/04/2025: We were at Easter, what can I say, everything was excellent, plentiful, very attentive even for those like me who have celiac disease. The wines were also very good.
28/04/2025: We chose to dine in this place because it is part of the AIC circuit. The owners are very well informed about celiac disease and contamination and for their preparations they do not use deglutinated preparations but only naturally gluten-free flours. The dishes we chose were good and plentiful, the prices were very honest and the service was attentive and friendly. I recommend it especially to those who have to eat gluten-free and need a place to dine without thinking about possible contamination.
