Trattoria de la Trebia In Milano

We had a great time dining here! Probably the best carbonara I’ve ever had! Coming from Australia, we’ve had many good steaks, but the one we had here hits differently. Plus, the atmosphere was so nice, Greta made our experience 10/10!

Tender and delicious meat, all very fresh and tasty. Perfect starters, there wasn't a dish that didn't convince us. Excellent service: young and friendly staff, attentive and thoughtful, the girls are all nice and kind, you can see that it is a restaurant where the trade is taught well. Quite an elegant environment, the only thing I would change is the slightly old style, the brown of the walls, the curtains, the lamps... I don't like them too much but it's a matter of taste. Excellent selection of wines, of every type, from everywhere, of every price. Clean bathrooms and very refined in style too. Average prices in a city like Milan. A little difficult to find parking.

A nice restaurant well anchored in the neighborhood, where meat is king. Steaks, cut, Florentine. Also good (and abundant) vegetable appetizers, cured meats and cheeses. The wine list is very interesting and, knowing how to choose, you can find gems at unexpected prices. The service is accurate and courteous. Better to book.

While passing through Milan we stopped at this restaurant which from the outside doesn't look like what it turned out to be to our surprise. A great place. Very elegant, spacious, truly important quantity and choice of wines and excellent quality of food. Nice attention to detail like in the bathroom with the various wipes and scrub creams. We were fascinated by the atmosphere of the place, a truly beautiful place and by the competence of the staff. Despite myself and I assure you that I am sorry, I have to give one star less as I am not convinced of how the Milanese cutlet was served. In other places in Milan, I have never been served lower than 1.5 cm. On the contrary, the ribs taken from us arrived totally crushed and without exaggeration they must have been 3 mm. I think the taste also changes from the point of view of butter absorption. Overall it was good but really too low and this made the product dry out more than expected, a few millimeters higher was really enough, just to avoid overdoing it. I will definitely come back to evaluate whether it was a coincidence and I will confirm or add the missing star. Update December 2024. I returned with friends to spread the word about the place but unfortunately they didn't behave well. Even though we had booked, as soon as we entered I was told "look, the table must be freed up at 09.30". There is absolutely no such thing, do I have to eat with the funnel since you have to give the table to other people? What a way to work this is. I'm sorry but after the terrible impression I made with the people I had at the table, I won't be coming back again. If I go out for dinner one evening I have the right to stay as long as I want at the table.

Very elegant and well-kept place. We tried the Florentine steak accompanied by mushrooms and broccoli. Excellent meat, perfect cooking and delicious side dishes. Impeccable service. Super recommended! Total bill €113.

Great restaurant with a huge wine selection

Ambiente elegante ma informale. Cibo molto buono, in particolare le polpette fritte di carne, il risotto alla milanese, la costoletta di vitello e le patate al forno.

Un déjeuner formidable dans cette trattoria haut de gamme. Très bonne charcuterie, très bonne parmigiana et excellent T-bone sur plaque chauffante.
