The food is very good, but it seems like a canteen to me because you can't really decide what to eat. The service is terrible, the atmosphere is nice.

We came to this restaurant with another
couple of friends. The place was very welcoming, the food excellent, and the service excellent.
We had divine fried seafood (their specialty) and a traditional first course, orecchiette with squid ink, mussels, and clams.
The price was reasonable... we'll definitely be back!

Thanks to my dear friend Silvestro, who works as chef at Trattoria dal Monaco, I celebrated my birthday on Sunday at lunchtime, just as I wanted, enjoying some excellent seafood dishes. Top! I'll be back soon! Laura Monaco (the real Monaco ;) )

Excellent place to eat. The dishes were very good, tasty, and the portions were just right. We ordered a seven-course seafood appetizer, and one was even better than the other. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

We stumbled upon this restaurant during a quick stroll around Polignano a Mare before heading back to Rome. What a wonderful discovery! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the fish is incredibly fresh and prepared with care and passion. The raw fish appetizer was truly delicious, not to mention the first courses: rice, mussels, and potatoes, and fresh pasta with mussels and clams—a delight for the palate. We didn't get to try the fried fish because we had to rush back, but given the quality of the other dishes, it's sure to be delicious. Congratulations!

Absolutely the best dining experience we had in Polignano. The seafood was incredibly fresh and full of authentic flavor — you could truly taste the sea in every bite. For someone who knows and appreciates quality seafood, this place is a must-visit.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening.

Recommended by a local. Delicious!! It's a popular spot with locals, great prices. The octopus and cicatelli are divine, the best I've ever tasted. Make a reservation so you don't miss out on the outdoor seating, overlooking the Modugno statue. Highly recommended.

The appetizers were average, with the chickpea puree being better. The first courses were decent, with little seafood, including half-closed clams, and too much oil.
The price was a bit high for the quality.

L’accoglienza nel ristorante è stata cortese e gentile. Gli antipasti di mare, crudo e cotto, sono ben presentati ed elaborati con prodotti freschi e di eccellente qualità. Tali si sono rivelati anche i primi che ci sono stati proposti. Di secondo abbiamo gustato dell’ottima e ben cotta frittura di pesce. Accettando il consiglio che mi è stato dato ho preso un superlativo pesce San Pietro cotto in forno con patate: una vera prelibatezza. Tutto il personale , titolare compreso, si è mostrato premuroso, efficiente e professionale. Conto onestissimo. Bella esperienza. Tornerò sicuramente.
