This is the place to eat if you want to avoid stupid touristic restaurants. As authentic roman cuisine as you can get in a crowded area of tourists. And yes, they have large Peroni bottle 😍😍

Excellent meals with the most pleasant staff. The restaurant is tucked away from the touristy areas, so there is a nice local vibe.

Buona cucina, curata e abbastanza varia benché romana. Personale gentile non i soliti osti da turista. Nulla da dire. Vicoletto non di passaggio e a Roma fa una grande differenza.

Simply good! The food is fresh, has a wonderful flavor and can be enjoyed away from the large crowds of visitors. Both the rabbit in wine sauce and the meatballs with zucchini are so tender that it's hard to believe. The waitresses and the team are also great! Greetings from Carsten (Germany). Magnificant food and service. Perfect!

The atmosphere of the place is great, the staff is friendly, it is definitely a wonderful place. The food was great. I haven't had such delicious chicken in a long time. Also price is very good

Locale: 🟢🟢🟢🟢 Servizio: 🟢🟢🟢🟢 Menù: 🟢🟢🟢 Prezzo: 🟢🟢🟢🟢 Locale tipico e storico di Roma. Tavoli molto vicini, come tradizione per le osterie romane e arredo un po’ datato. Tutto in linea con la tipicità romana. Servizio “verace” con un cameriere romanaccio (nel senso buono del termine) che non lesina battute ai commendali. Un’atmosfera che a me piace molto. Menù tipico romano: a differenza di altre volte la qualità non era all’altezza del nome. Forse una serata sbagliata. Prezzo nella norma per il tipo di locale: circa 30€/testa per 2 portate Consigliato, sperando fosse sooo una serata sbagliata in cucina

Alfredo e Ada

05/05/2025: Ah, the famous Alfredo e Ada! Homemade food right in the old town, with insane charm. Is the food really that amazing? I had pasta bolognese ("Pasta al ragu"), and it tasted just like the pasta we make at home - it was tasty, however I would not recommend it, unless one looks for rather simple meal. Lasagna was really delicious. Vitella and blanched zucchini were simple, spiced with mint-like herb. They do not serve any coffee nor desserts, which is fine, as there are many options around. I really like the vibe, and the staff.
05/05/2025: Visited on a weekday around 7pm and managed to get a table for two after 30minutes of waiting. Menu changes slightly everyday, but one of their signatures was oxtail - Coda alla vaccinara. This was divine. It does take some effort to dig out all the meat on the tail, nevertheless it was so tender yet juicy. We also had eggplant parmigiana and mushroom risotto which were both good. Homely authentic Roman cuisine The space is tight, and as mentioned in other reviews, you get seated with other patrons in the same table. Price was very reasonable. Location was easy to find. It was worth the wait.
