Beautiful, cozy restaurant.
Despite some language difficulties, we had a very pleasant evening.
The service was very friendly and the food delicious. We each had a different pasta dish, which we highly recommend.
Reservations are recommended; we were lucky during the off-season, but I suspect it can get quite crowded, especially during peak season.

I would give it very good 4.5 stars. The location is beautiful, visually the most appealing and also the coziest restaurant compared to those along the coastal road or in Porto Santo Stefano. It’s slightly elevated but still within walking distance. We were able to get a table spontaneously.
The food was outstanding: the Pappa al Pomodoro as a starter was delicious, and the Cappelletti al Carbonaio was excellent as well!
The only minor downside was the service, unfortunately, which felt not very welcoming and a bit rushed...

Great meal here tonight. We’ve been in PSS for two nights. If you don’t like fish you are in a bad way, unless you find this place. It’s quite a hike up, but the walk down is easier. We wanted pasta, without fish. We got it. Cacio&pepe and ravioli with a delicious bolognese ragu, plus a fresh mixed salad and sautéed vegetables. Add to that a pleasant carafe of Sangiovese and we were all set. they also have meat dishes if you want a big meal.

Trattoria with excellent dishes. We tried the hunter's appetizer (a mix of cured meats and crostini), the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, the fig tortelli, and two desserts. Everything was truly delicious! The cozy dining room on the first floor is welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are moderate.
The hospitality we received from our dog was also greatly appreciated.
Parking nearby isn't the easiest thing to find, but it's worth it! Recommended.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. I ate at this restaurant 2 times in one week; once during the week and once on a Saturday. My recommendation is don’t go in the weekend and ask for a table on the ground floor or in the veranda not upstairs: too crowded not comfortable chairs or table.
First visit: amazing service, the waiter with round glasses provided an excellent service and the food was amazing: antipasto crostini toscani, crostini con lardo, primo piatto pappardelle al cinghiale, secondo piatto grigliata mista, dolce mousse cioccolato bianco con arachidi e caramello salato. Very good local beer.
Second visit: sloppy service, no attention to customers, the waiter ( tall guy) did not change the cutlery and let my friend eat the main course with the same knife he used for antipasto. We were told we could not order less than a certain amount of meat and that a dessert was available when it was not.
Food was average: the cut of the meat was not tender, the pate’ of liver crostini toscani was not tasty as the previous time and was not fine there were super big chunks of liver ama the flavor overall not good. Ravioli maremmani con ragù were dry and the filling was disappointing.
Suggestion: keep the service and the quality consistent.

A little way from the harbor, we spontaneously stopped by for dinner this evening.
Despite not having a reservation, we were seated quickly.
The service was very friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful. The price/quality ratio and quality of this restaurant were absolutely perfect. We would gladly come back. 🙂

Spectacular restaurant located on a hill, with sea views from the central tables on the garden terrace. Enchanting location, as is the food. I recommend the tagliatelle with mushrooms and wild boar, and the duck breast with orange. Cheesecake. But the ravioli and wild boar were also excellent.
Very friendly staff 💯
We'll definitely be back. Make sure to book because it's always sold out.
