The external veranda is beautiful with an excellent view, very pleasant and professional service, and very good and not heavy food, despite the substantial dishes.
Honest prices!

We were there a couple years ago when we rented a car and tour around the area for a week. We do not have reservations and they made room for us. We had the ravioli stuffed with fig and the chicken and it was absolutely one of the best meals we had in Italy!

Fabulous experience, a place that really deserves it! We had dinner on the veranda overlooking the sea, very suggestive, but the whole place is very beautiful, with attention to the smallest details. The menu is also very well looked after, fresh ingredients and everything homemade: refined and delicious dishes! The exceptional meat, the delicious tortelli, a mustard ice cream of their own invention to accompany the tartare, very tasty, delicious desserts! All the staff are always smiling and kind, they even give the children coloring books and pencils to while away the wait even if in reality the service is very quick! And finally the friendliness and welcome of the owner Cristina! What can I say...highly recommended and we will definitely be back! Thank you

We had made a reservation for 7 people on the terrace and were served promptly: bag with various types of bread and water to satisfy our first thirst in the heat. For the children there was a whole booklet for drawing and puzzles including colored pencils and the menu was also in English. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the food left nothing to be desired. Requests for changes were implemented immediately (the children didn't want ravioli but preferred tagliatelle). Highly recommended even if parking is a bit difficult.

I booked and on the phone I asked about the possibility of gluten free but we didn't understand each other very well regarding the first courses but, overall with bread and second courses we solved the dinner, and I would say that the barbecue was a successful dish...

Welcoming place furnished with old tables and furnishings from the peasant tradition although placed in a modern, tidy and clean context.
I had dinner three times during my stay in Porto Santo Stefano, having the opportunity to taste various proposals on the menu.
I must say the debut was not the happiest, seeing me denied the possibility of replacing one of the three crostini with Cinta Senese lard (excellent) with a traditional Tuscan one with liver: it seems to me that it was not a request that could undermine the organization of the kitchen, but oh well.
The tomato soup found among the appetizers is served cold, very good, but I would have preferred more care in the presentation and not to recognize any trace of the bottom of the storage bowl, a sign that it is tipped into the bowl and off it goes.
Panzanella is a hearty dish, pleasantly fresh, perhaps excessively seasoned (read greasy).
Among the first courses, the "coal burner's hat" is an interesting proposal, although I found the tortello pasta a little undercooked and the seasoning excessive (an extra tortello wouldn't hurt).
The "straw and hay, cheese and pepper flavored with truffle" is an appetizing dish where, however, the pepper plays too dominant a role, but can be eaten willingly.
The "stolen morsel" is a loin of pork perhaps a little stringy, crowned with good bacon but which arrived too dry, probably a timing mix-up in the kitchen.
Tasty traditional side dishes such as escarole with olives or sautéed chicory. The desserts I tried didn't make me scream: panna cotta with garnish of your choice (I chose figs) all in all without infamy and buffalo ricotta and black cherry tart: well, here perhaps I risked screaming for fear of suffocating from how much it was stringy. The house wines served in bulk are normal: it's a shame not to find at least a couple of half bottles on the wine list.
All in all a good place to eat traditional cuisine.
Service carried out with friendliness and diligence by the crafty Giorgia and Chiara, waiters on the first floor.
